5 out of 5 stars - A Hidden Gem in Khao Lak!
Krua Pi Bao is an absolute must-visit when in Khao Lake! This family-friendly restaurant blew us away with its delicious food and exceptional service. As a mixed group with vegans, we were thrilled by their willingness to accommodate dietary needs without compromising on taste.
The vegan options were creative and mouthwatering, proving that plant-based can be just as delicious as traditional Thai cuisine. Our kids, usually picky eaters, couldn't get enough!
Don't miss their smoothies - they're like sipping on a tropical paradise. The curry was a perfect blend of spices, and the Pad Thai? Simply divine. Every dish was a flavor explosion that had us scraping our plates clean.
What really sets Krua Pi Bao apart is their attention to detail and genuine care for their customers. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience.
Whether you're a vegan, a food enthusiast, or a family looking for a fantastic meal, Krua Pi Bao delivers...
Read moreCame here for a late lunch, whilst waiting for my laundry to finish at the laundromat next door (spoiler alert: 8kg top loader wash load takes exactly 1 hour & 40 mins to fully dry).
The menu is the same as the photos shared already from 9 months ago. Great value for money and fast WiFi, which enabled me to communicate with my family.
I had finished eating, but my family wanted to come join me. The owner was gracious in allowing me to leave my bag at the table, while I popped back to the laundromat to transfer washing to the dryer. She also said I didn't need to pay until my family arrived and ordered, so we pay altogether. The trust was great and it enabled me to be efficient!
The food quality was comparable to other eateries around Bang Niang. Menu was easy to understand. For example, my chicken with kale and rice, soup and Fanta only cost 70 baht! Wished I had discovered this place earlier, we will be returning before the end of...

I had in this place pad thai, different curry and fried rice. They put more shrimps than others but less vegetables. In curry I didn't feel the taste of coconut milk almost. It's still ok if you don't remember the real taste of curry. Sometimes shrimps were uncleaned. They serve very fast after you make order. So it's nice place to have a quick meal but for enjoying real taste of thai food you should choose another place. Staff is friendly but always looked ...
