Having worked in hotels around the world I have finally found a place that makes the finest and most authenthic BIRIYANI I have ever eaten. Freshly made, packed with those original home made flavours, generous servings. I stayed in Khao Lak for 7 days and ate here everyday. Had the Prawn Biriyani- fresh king size prawns infused in the most flavoursome biyiyani rice- absolutely delicious and out of this world. Lovely place to eat , the menu has a super assortment of original Thai, Indian and Pakistani dishes all freshly made, full of flavour and truly outstanding. Quality fresh ingredients, spicy to your liking whether tourist or local and really kind owner.
Honestly its a gem and we are happy to have found it after several really bad restaurant experiences geared toward tourists - not a local in sight. Its kind of sad that people come to a place with so much to offer and don't get into the local cousine, but if you want good, fair priced food then try Makan Azaan.
