De Riva Ayothaya — Restaurant in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya City Municipality

Another fantastic restaurant on banks of Chaopraya in Ayuthaya. Weekend is time to explore. This week we decide to drive to Ayuthaya to try a new restaurant. De Riva has lots of seating options. We decided to sit right on the edge. River view with continous traffic of tourist dinner boats and occasional barge provided perfect back drop. Right across river is a church. Food was delicious. We decided to have a tower of draught beer and complimented that with sun dried pork, a pork salad and fish. All the dishes were finger-licking good. The restaurant is very spacious at riverfront and across a cute small church. Sitting outside you can enjoy relaxing river view. Most food is Thai style, and the river prawn is the highlight (option from 500, 600, 700, 1000b size). Most customers are Thai locals but they are nice to foreigners. The live duo band is awesome, creating nostagic country music environment. The staffs are very nice and friendly. It was late that day and one senior staff and his assistant helped me get to the hotel. Recommended! Mosquitoes repellent spray also available if you...
