Heaven's Kitchen Hua Hin — Restaurant in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

We were out looking for dinner when the lady owner stopped us outside the restaurant. She was friendly, charming even, and managed to reel us in with a smile and a menu. Fair play to her, she did her job well. Unfortunately, that’s where the good bit ends.

We ordered Tom Kha Gai, Massaman Curry, Gai Pad Kratiem Prik, spring rolls, and a mango shake. Let’s just say… we should’ve kept walking.

First off, the wait was ridiculous. We were sat there for what felt like ages, only to be served food that honestly wasn’t worth the time. The mango shake was watery and flavourless, might as well have been blended ice with a hint of regret. Tom Kha Gai? Thin, bland, absolutely no depth like someone waved a lemongrass stick near it and called it a day.

Now the “Massaman Curry”… I don’t know what the chef was going for, but it definitely wasn’t Massaman. No warmth, no richness, no actual curry flavour just a sad bowl of confusion. Gai Pad Kratiem Prik was another letdown, dry chicken, not a trace of garlic, and absolutely no kick. As for the spring rolls over-fried to the point of no return. Crunchy, yes, but not in a good way.

It’s the kind of place made for tourists who’ve never tasted proper Thai food and wouldn’t know the difference. Honestly, I’m more annoyed at myself for falling for it. A textbook tourist trap. Save yourself the disappointment,...

Not a good dining experience. We went for dinner. Couple who own business were not at restaurant that night. We ordered a seafood soup but when it arrived we noticed there was only shrimp. We called over the waitress and told her we ordered seafood. She said restaurant did not have seafood that night only shrimp. We asked why she did not tell us there is no seafood when we ordered. She replied again no seafood only shrimp. We also ordered vegetable pad thai. Waitress delivered pad thai not the way we ordered it. When the bill came we were charged higher price for food. We asked waitress why we are charged higher price when we did not receive seafood and waitress or kitchen made mistake on the pad thai. My now fiancé and I dinned at Heaven's Kitchen as the last installment of a full day planned proposal. The day had gone 100% to plan and my partner was overwhelmed. As we stepped out of the Limousine and made our way to the restaurant I was hoping that Heaven's Kitchen lived up to expectation as the day had been perfect so far. Heaven's Kitchen did not disappoint, it was certainly the icing on the cake. I have eaten at many AGFG hat restaurants and Heaven's Kitchen was up among the best.
