The staff who checked us in didn’t have good service & it’s not a good first impression of a hotel. She wasn’t mean or rude, just like a robot and not very welcoming. I was disappointed there wasn’t free breakfast included because a lot of hotels throw in free breakfast. I don’t even eat that much 555. They put the lobby on the eighth floor which is confusing and it’s even hard to find the button in the elevator (see pic) also, when you get out of the elevator, you have to go straight and turn right which is again a bit confusing. There was some lady sitting at a table, probably for a conference, who totally ignored us which is a good reason to put the reception downstairs so guests first impression is a friendly, welcoming receptionist, not a maze, trying to find the reception area walking by someone who ignores them. These small details really matter. We did get two free welcome drinks and a plate saying welcome with 2 cookies and some fruit. The room on the 15th floor had an ocean view. The main point here is if the service isn’t that great it really detracts from the experience even though the room is nice and there’s a welcome gift. Service is Really Important! The balcony is very large & there were 2 comfortable chairs (in the hotel I’m in now only has one chair, but there are two people??? Go figure!) There are some problems/weird designs in the room: they gave me two watches that are key cards in case I want to go to the waterpark. That’s annoying because I’m not going to the waterpark and would prefer a normal room key(s). There was a key for the electricity, which isn’t good because we just left it in and wasted electricity when we were out so it defeats the purpose of saving electricity when no one’s in the room. I would prefer to have a bathtub, not shower only. The bathroom doesn’t have a toilet separate from the shower so if someone is on the toilet, no one can take a shower at the same time also, there are two doors so if someone is a light sleeper, we have to close both doors at night, and there is a sink blocking the door, so it can’t be used which doesn’t make any sense, but you can see the view from the shower, which is really nice. Also, the handle inside of the shower is hard to grab and the door doesn’t close all the way. It would be nice if there were USB plugs. The shower is really good. Great pressure, I even wanted to take a picture of it. It’s annoying to have a door in front of the fridge so every time you use the fridge you have to open two doors. There is a string in the shower If you want to hang your clothes, they could also add one on the balcony. The sky bar on the 27th floor is really nice and there’s a glass skywalk which is fun. Also the 2 swimming pools on the roof are absolutely amazing! It was one of the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen! I thought I could stay a full month, just to chill at the pool all day every day and enjoy the view! I even made a five minute video—It was so great. I was happy they gave me a late check out at 1pm. The room doors close too slow and someone could sneak in. It’s not safe, be really careful to make sure your door closes so no one sneaks in. The hotel I am at now offered a welcome drink and a washcloth for your hands, which was a really nice touch. I recommend they do the same. The servers at the bar were...

Location and Accessibility: The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Hua Hin, adjacent to the Vana Nava Water Jungle. This makes it an ideal choice for families and thrill-seekers. The complimentary shuttle service to the town center and nearby attractions is a thoughtful touch that adds to the convenience.
Check-in and Welcome: Upon arrival, we were greeted with warm smiles and efficient service. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and we were given a detailed overview of the hotel’s amenities and activities. The staff’s professionalism and friendliness set the tone for our stay.
Rooms: Our room was modern, spacious, and impeccably clean, with a stunning view of the Gulf of Thailand. The decor was contemporary and stylish, providing a comfortable and relaxing ambiance. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities provided, including a well-stocked minibar, coffee maker, and high-speed Wi-Fi, were excellent. The bathroom was also spacious and well-equipped with premium toiletries.
Facilities: The hotel boasts a range of impressive facilities. The infinity pool on the 26th floor offers breathtaking panoramic views of Hua Hin and the ocean, making it a perfect spot to relax and unwind. The fitness center is well-equipped with modern machines and offers a great view, making workouts a pleasure rather than a chore.
Dining: The dining options at Holiday Inn Vana Nava Hua Hin are diverse and cater to all tastes. The buffet breakfast at Plamong Restaurant offered a wide variety of delicious dishes, from local Thai specialties to Western favorites. We also dined at Vana Nava Sky, the rooftop bar and restaurant, which provided an unforgettable culinary experience with its gourmet dishes and stunning views.
Water Park: One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary access to the Vana Nava Water Jungle. It’s a fantastic place for both kids and adults, with thrilling water slides, a lazy river, and numerous pools. The direct access from the hotel made it incredibly convenient.

Read moreUpdate Oct 21. No longer great ice-cream in the lobby. Below is post from 2020 Failed to follow-up. Hotel starts strong with extra touch of email to introduce the hotel and services as well as accept request upon arrival. Don't bother making any requests, nothing was fulfilled and you have to make the request in person upon arrival. Some covered parking spots with 6 EV charging stations. Lots of people and kids at this family friendly resort. Slow elevators. After 5 you have to go to the G floor to access the sky bar. Unheated cold infinity pool on 26th floor. Largest hotel kids club in Thailand can accommodate 40 kids and 40 parents. Clean room. Holiday Inn standard. Not connected to the beach. Takes forever when you call housekeeping. Thanks to the holiday Inn team to try to regain my trust on a future visit but I'm still in the hotel! With 2 more nights. Our room wasn't cleaned today between 10-2pm due to the full house and students on a field trip last night. Housekeeping asked if they could come in later in the evening. Room was a bit dusty as our allergies acted up a bit. You can hear the train on the ocean view side as the station is seen about 200m from the hotel. Very fast free wifi 170+Mbps but drops to 12-40 Mbps when the hotel is full at night. Breakfast employees were overwhelmed by numbers of guests. Noodle station never served the personalized noodle request tickets of each table. Potentially covid-19 hotbed and I did not feel safe. Most guests not wearing masks. No gloves, no alcohol gels. No social distancing. Even a customer sneezed into his hand then used the same hand on serving spoon. Employees said they used to have alcohol and gloves. This is probably the best resort for kids but maybe you should accept less guest for the safety of staff, families, and the community. Extra star for K. Pratana general service manager and the quick service recovery. The next morning the hotel required masks at breakfast. Vana Nava tip complimentary towels, lockers and 2 beach huts #3 and 4 available for hotel guests use. The water park also allows holiday inn water bottles to be brought into the park. Park opens early for hotel guests so you can go grab a spot and take pictures before the general public. Highly recommended family resort. Improved breakfast taste would make it 5 stars. Dinner at Pramong was very good semi-buffet where you order a main dish and salad, soup, soft drinks, pasta and dessert...
