Koh Lanta Restaurant, Suvarnabhumi — Restaurant in Racha Thewa Subdistrict Administrative Organization

The resort is situated next to a beautiful lake and is only a few hundred yards from the airport, making it both stunning and convenient. We were upgraded for free to a room with a private pool (pictured) and a lake view (also pictured during the day and at night) due to having stayed there before within the previous twelve months. The self contained apartments are spacious, comfortable, and ornately decorated. I stupidly forgot to take any photos of the inside of the apartment this time, apart from the one photo of the takeaway we ordered from the onsite restaurant, which I forgot to take until I was halfway through my dinner!

The resort is large, but you needn't worry about having to do lots of walking, as the staff kindly provide a free shuttle service using fancy looking "golf carts" to ferry you and your luggage to and from the reception desk and diner. They also provide a free taxi service to and from the airport, which removes the burden and worry of finding your own transportation to the hotel and back upon arrival and departure.

Its convenient location and beauty means that my girlfriend and I will undoubtedly stay there for a fourth time whenever we are...

I have be here many times with my Thai family, the food is good but maybe a bit expencive. But great location exept for the noise of all the flights taking off from the airport.

Koh Lanta Suvarnabhumi Restaurant is built around a lake, together with the Ammata Lanta Hotel. The restaurant has a huge amount of seating capabilities and when the guest sit at one of the tables, you can see the beautiful Ammata Lanta Hotel on the other side of the like. What makes Koh Lanta Suvarnabhumi Restaurant so unique is the amazing atmosphere they created. It is like you are in some sort of theme park with all sorts of sculptures, structures and beautiful nature which include small waterfalls, beautiful plants and koi fish. This oasis is something you won’t find easily in Bangkok and it’s what makes Koh Lanta Suvarnabhumi Restaurant so popular. This oasis of peace gets ‘disturbed’ every five minutes by its other cool feature: a low flying Boeing 777 that takes off from the airport. Bit of language barrier when trying to explain my wife was vegetarian and allergic to molluscs... ended up with 4 staff surrounding my wife speaking in Thai which wasn't helping matters. Google translate was also unable to help!

She eventually got some mushrooms fried in what amounted to soy sauce which was quite bland. Not fully blaming the restaurant but vegetarian options were a bit poor. I had fried duck which was very nice but not enough sweet chilli sauce.
