I recently stayed at Dwella Suvarnabhumi, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience from start to finish.Firstly, the staff were shockingly rude and unprofessional. When I arrived, I had to wait for my room to be cleaned. While waiting, I ordered a club sandwich from their menu but was served two fried egg sandwiches cut into triangles instead. Not only was the food incorrect, but they also wanted to charge me $5 for it. When I politely pointed out the mistake, the lady at the counter rudely snatched the plate from me with no explanation or apology. The overall environment of the hotel was chaotic. The family who runs the place allowed their children to run around screaming, which was both unprofessional and disruptive. The restaurant was dirty, adding to my discomfort. The location of the hotel is equally unappealing. It is situated opposite an industrial estate with noisy lorries passing all day, kicking up dust, and behind it is an unsightly building site. Shops are a good 10-minute walk away, making it very inconvenient. The worst part of my stay came during check-out. The receptionist falsely accused me of being sick on the bed the previous night and demanded extra payment for cleaning. Despite my calm explanation that this was a mistake, she openly called me a liar in front of other guests waiting for the shuttle to the airport. After much back and forth, another staff member finally agreed to accompany me to the room, where it was proven that the bedding was clean. Even then, no apology was offered, and the staff remained rude and dismissive. To make matters worse, the shuttle bus to the airport was delayed because of this false accusation. The driver then sped dangerously to the airport, making everyone onboard feel nervous and unsafe.I cannot stress enough how terrible this hotel is. The rude staff, poor service, and awful location make it a place to avoid at all costs. Even if they offered to pay me to stay there, I would refuse. Spare yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for...
Read moreHi I had 26 hours stay in Bangkok, the hotel location not good, it is nearly half a km away from main road and to call a taxi you need to pay a surcharge. Although hotel provides a shuttle service to main road to drop you there Hotel is not centrally air condition and air conditioner installed in rooms are too small so it will take a bit time to get cool. Tv screen is also too small and very old so the hotel using digital set top box it’s mean you need two remote controllers to watch. The worst thing is the toilet have a black colour tiles look very bad and does not have a glass door instead they put a curtain to divide it (just installing a glass door and changing the colour will it look good)|Shower outlet is so tiny I never seen in the world. They don’t provide iron and iron board in the room so you need to carry your clothes to luggage storage room to iron them. |Airport shuttle service is good. Hotel does not provide 24 hours check in check out so if you need to check out at 4 you need to pay extra amount. Breakfast was included in the room price also but they don’t put buffet although in pictures hotel shows buffet. They will serve you breakfast at table and for anything else you need to pay. I mean if you want a glass of water you need to pay. For 2nd glass of juice you need to pay. They will provide 2 slices of bread if you need extra then pay 😡|Plus point The food tastes good. |Hotel have a swimming pool and that is good and clean but only few sitting arrangements. |I’ll definitely not recommend this hotel unless you don’t have any...
Read moreThis hotel didn’t live up to ANY minimum standards, anywhere in the world. ||* the location is abysmal - no restaurants or cafes nearby. When I found a place nearby to eat on TRipAdvisor, the hotel “taxi” golf cart drove me to the main road and told me to get a taxi. WTF?||* the location is in the middle of an industrial center (pallets, mostly) and walking along looking for a place to hang out was basically pointless. A 100 THB taxi ride (each way) brought me to a place for dinner. ||* the pool is very small, and there are 4 lounge chairs and NO SHADE. Add 2 bored kids and other travelers and you’re sitting on a threadbare towel on concrete in full sun. ||* the room is cobbled together with stained linens, threadbare towels, patches but not painted walls, sparking electrical outlets, a TV that didn’t work (even after the front desk came & took a look), and walls that were so thin you can hear your neighbors conversations ||* the WiFi was so poor that I couldn’t download a local map||* breakfast was free and so abysmal that I changed my shuttle time so I could eat at the airport, where I wasn’t afraid of food poisoning. ||* the restaurant acoustic were such that the loudly arguing couple at the other end of the restaurant deafened me. ||* the employees so clearly wanted to be somewhere else - no eye contact, no helpful directions when I asked about what was around AND the front desk woman clipped her nails while sitting at the desk when I was waiting for my room to be ready. ||||I’d rate this 1/10 and encourage you to consider ANY OTHER HOTEL...
