April Cafe — Restaurant in Samut Prakan City Municipality

Okay so this is my first time dining here but I think it’s safe to say this place is more decent than excellent. Hear me out okay?

So first of all the food is very tasty , I like the fried fish that was covered in fish sauce or something. The fish sauce gives off a sweet and heavy flavor and the dipping sauce that cane along with the fish is very spicy. Though I am very fond of it. It’s a very good combination. I also ordered a plenty of dishes and most of them were fine. I didn’t have a chance to order the desserts though. I didn’t have enough time to do so. But I did ordered a Yuzu Soda thing and it was tasteless. It was just like a lime plus the tiniest tint of orange. Overall 9/10 for me.

Second of all , the atmosphere. I like the view and all. My table was right next to the river and the view is amazing. Though there was a bit too much of ships and boats traveling around but it’s pretty much understandable. BUT!!! I think it’s just me but I’m the kind of person who likes to eat in solitude , enjoying my meal and have a small chit chat with friends and family members. This place was too much of a noisy place. There was a music band that plays you music , I don’t exactly hate them but if they could lower their music it will be very pleasant for me. Don’t get me wrong the singer is very talented and a cool guy but the music was just too loud. and unfortunately on the day I went there was a table that I assume is very drunk and is way off their butt, they were very loud, screaming n shouting. It was very unpleasant. I despise loud noises let alone screaming drunk freaks interrupting my whole meal during my family member’s birthday celebration. This is not exactly the restaurant’s fault but oh well I hate it.4/10

And last but not least , the service. There’s not much to say. But I do think their staffs members and waiters are quite…unprofessional. The service is not bad but to be honest I’ve seen better. 6/10

If they have change in such a dramatic ways I would visit again. xx

I’ve been going to Ban Meysa for the past couple of months but today (4th January) I went there for dinner and genuinely I came across to the worst service provided to me. I ordered 3 dishes all together and only one of dish was provided on time and the rest remaining dishes were not even served. After 1 hour when I asked the staff they were not yet all apologetic about it. Hence, I canceled the order of the remaining 2 dishes and I asked for the bill. For which the staff responded very rudely. This one staff has been rude several times but I didn’t let it bother me but this time was just not acceptable. I have liked Ban Meysa and Aprils Cafe and it has always been in my go to list ever since I know the place. The owner is a fantastic person too and have helped me and my girlfriend on couple of occasions. Just really disappointed with the service which was provided to me. Dishes: Dishes are not very good; compared to other restaurants which serve the same types of dishes, their dishes are not very flavourful but spiciness Shop: Staff are not very attentive, sometimes they see you are waving and calling but they just walk pass by. Free parking lot in front of the restaurant Cleanliness: Utensils are dirty but I forgot to take a photo. They have trash bins for each table but didn't use it. When there is a heavy gust, all tissue papers from customers start flying around.
