Rim Khuean Seafood — Restaurant in Samut Prakan City Municipality

Editied for September, 2019: I just a paid another visit. This is the best seafood in greater Bangkok. Anytime you can stuff yourself with fresh, off the dock seafood for $8 is a giflt from the food goods. Get out of Central Bangkok and try this place. Be adventerous. As for me, I live closer this year so it will be my go to place. Taking a stroll on the nearby River Esplanade is cool too! Orirignal review follows! Awesome! A total local place right near the PakNam BTS. The staff was friendly, although very little English is spoken. It is total Thai: outdoor seating, outdoor fish storage on ice, toilet paper for napkins, dogs wandering around but the food is fabulous. If you, like me, want to eat with the locals, this is a place for you. You will be the focus of attention because not a lot of foreigners go here. You will be even more approved of if you, like me, can handle hot food and Thai style dishes. I had Kale with Shrimp and Oyster Sauce and it was wonderful, the shrimp were plump, juicy and sweet...and the Kale was done perfectly. Add a little Prik Nampla to heat it up. I also had a grilled Sea Bass which was attractively presented whole garnished with some fried garlic and ginger strips. Take a hunk of fish, a little rice, a little garlic and some ginger and put some fresh made spicy green dipping sauce on it and it was Michelin quality! Total Bomb! This place will warrant a repeat, I would ride the train down to Pak Nam just to go here. The staff was friendly and helpful, and paid a lot of attention to me because I was a foreigner and they were really happy I enjoyed the meal. If you are a guy by yourself, they will try to fix you up with the cook. Another cook kept telling me that she loves me. The owner is the one who speaks broken English and he is a real nice guy, his wife or sister is the head cook and she can slay it. I had a great time, and great food. Don't expect ambiance, but the prices reflect it: my bill was 290 Baht with two cokes (it was hot out). Thats under $9. Total bargain for what I consider world class food! Just head right down past the 7-11 on the East side of the station, 100 meters or so, look for the yellow chairs on the corner. The menu is extensive and they do have an English version, but no pictures, so you pick on the English menu and the owner counts down to where it is and matches up with the Thai menu. เพิ่งเคยเข้าร้านนี้เป็นครั้งแรก แต่สั่งกลับบ้านนะจ๊ะ เนื่องจากคนร้านนี้เยอะมาก ขนาดไปตั้งแต่ 16.00 น.นะ ทั้งคนสั่งกับบ้านบวกกับคนที่สั่งทานนั่งร้าน ไม่รู้จะเยอะไปไหน (วันหยุดสุดสัปดาห์)

มีเมนูไหนบ้างที่เราสั่งทานกับบ้าน มาดูกัน ** ยำไข่แมงดา เมื่อก่อนไม่เคยกินเลยยำไข่แมงดา เลยหันมาลองทานดู หยั่งซึ้งอ่ะ (ติดใจ) อยากจะกินทุกวันเลยด้วยซ้ำ 555++ มันเคี้ยวมันส์ปากมาก ถึงกะปวดกรามกันเลยทีเดียว และอาทิตย์ก่อนได้มีโอกาสมาลองกินยำไข่แมงดาทะเล เจ้าไข่ส้มเนียมันอร่อยมาก ขอบอก ขอบอก

ยำไข่แมงดาทะเล ขึ้นชื่อตรงไข่นี่แหละ ถ้าทำให้ถูกวิธี ไข่ที่ได้ก็จะหอมมัน เคี้ยวอร่อย เหมือนอย่างร้านนี้ไง "ริมเขื่อน ซีฟู๊ด" อร่อยถูกปากมาก ส่วนเมนูอื่นๆ ก็ไม่แพ้กันน่ะ

** กุ้งอบวุ้นเส้น เป็นเมนูที่ ผู้ใหญ่ทานได้ เด็กก็ทานดี เป็นเมนูที่ทำง่ายและใช้เวลาไม่นาน แต่ได้รสชาติที่คงความอร่อยแบบเต็มๆ ซึ่งถือว่ากุ้งอบวุ้นเส้นเป็นอาหารสมุนไพรเลยก็ว่าได้ อย่างขิงและชวงเจียที่ช่วยขับลม เหมาะสำหรับผู้ที่ท้องอืด ท้องเฟ้อ และยังมีขึ้นช่ายที่ช่วยลดความดัน 555+ กินหมดทั้งจาน เมนูนี้เรายกนิ้วให้

** ปลาหมึกไข่นึ่งมะนาว เมนูจานฮิต อร่อยจี๊ดโดนใจ สูตรลับมันอยู่ที่น้ำจิ้มเนี๊ยแหละ มันเปรี้ยวจี๊ดซะใจมาก แถมปลาหมึกที่นำไปย่างก่อนที่จะนำไปราดน้ำจิ้มนั้น เป็นปลาหมึกไข่ซะด้วย อื้อฮือ พิมพ์ไปน้ำลายไหลไป ^^ (เปรี้ยวปากมั๊กกก)

** ต้มยำทะเลน้ำข้น รสชาติเผ็ดแซ่บ ดุเดือด เปรี้ยวจี๊ด กลมกล่อมถึงเครื่องต้มยำ เมนูไทยๆ ที่สร้างชื่อเสียงให้ประเทศไทย สีสันน่ารับประทาน หากทานคู่กับข้าวสวยร้อนๆละก็ ไม่รู้จะพูดว่าอย่างไรดี เพราะมันอร่อยมาก ฮุๆ เมนูนี้ก็ยกนิ้วให้เช่นกัน

ถึงกับตกใจเลยใช่มั๊ย เพราะราคาที่นี่ถูกมาก ถูกแบบงงๆ เลยแหละ

Randomly went here on a whim via BTS. Walked for 3-4 mins until we saw a tent/stall near a parking lot.

The place is so local that they could barely speak English but with the power of Google translate and key phrases, we managed.

The food was so good and fresh! The prices are stellar. Would highly recommend going here with a local friend if you have any to ask about their favorites. They do have a menu with english words but I doubt some of the translations.
