W Omakase — Restaurant in Saphan Song Subdistrict

Undoubtedly this place looks nice and beautiful. That's the only strong point of this place.

Food wise. It's just average. I had the seasonal course. The best they had. Duck was overcook and dry. Uni ain't top grade. Others was average for me. (my point of view)

In terms of service. Waiters wasn't enough at all. There's no one to clear our plates after done with each meal. Chef was rushing to serve the foods and they didn't really bother to explain it to you nicely. It's just like they memorize a script and just spit it out after putting the sushis on the serving plate.

And language wise, English ain't their strong language. So don't expect English to be spoken by any of the staffs.

Omakase is all about trusting the chef to serve the food. And they will nromally explain to their guest on how to taste and enjoy the food. Maybe with some story behind how's the food is served.

Another complain is, I could not enjoy my meal nicely. The next room was playing edm music so loudly while we enjoying our omakase. 😅😅

We were a group of four persons. Food quality was very high and the presentation is very beautiful. However the menu is nothing special. Most of the food was already prepared in advance. The chef was a bit bored and didn’t explain everything in detail (also not in English). I am Thai so I could somehow translate it for the group. The service was ok. I received a cupcake on house. That was very thoughtful. Not the worst and not the best place in Bangkok. If this is your first Omakase experience it’s definitely worth...

We found this place online and was impressed by its decor thinking the food would just be average, guess what? Turns out this place is not in a central location and all the local thais which are more of the high souls go to this. The food is amazing and the staffs are so helpful in explaining to us the details in English! Truly amazing quality for this price, the cutlery is so ig worthy and the dining experience was fantastic! Please go try this omakase, under rated and hidden gem for its spectacular...
