Studio 55 Songkhla — Restaurant in Songkhla Province

My 2nd time visiting this cafe bc it has a really cool vibe. Good seating area and a great view. I ordered a coffee caramel macchiato and it was a 6/10, a bit too sweet (the staff did not ask for my sugar preference so I assumed it wouldn’t be too sweet). Ordered a Tiramisu which was really not up to the mark, thin layers and did not taste like mascarpone 🫤 The Mexican Chocolate Cake however, a solid 10/10! 👍🏼👍🏼

Overall, disappointed with the staff.. Not at all welcoming and somewhat rude. He did not allow me to take a small box of Thai snacks (ขนมโตเกียว) that I bought nearby. Fair enough, but as I walked in there was another customer having doughnuts from the cafe beside like ??? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Please put a board of “No outside food or drinks”. I’d rather leave it in the car than have your staff...

Another great coffee shop in Songkhla. I don’t know how many there are by now. But it must be more than 30 just in Old Town.

Studio 55 has some great pastries on display which I haven’t tried this time. But they looked great. The coffee was very good as well and prices are very reasonable.

Delicious coffee (you can order drinks without sugar) and cake, I usually don't like red velvet but they do it well here as their signature cake. The back of the shop has the picturesque lake views but the outdoor seating area is very warm so be prepared to sweat it out. Self service. Like most places in Songkhla, doesn't accept credit card but can accept QR via Touch n Go...
