Seri Market The Nine Rama IX — Restaurant in Suan Luang Subdistrict

An upscale compact air-conditioned indoor fresh market combined with a food court, cafés, a big pharmacy and a number of small lifestyle shops. The food court is the main fixture here with long-established food stalls offering clean & tasty dishes of various choices: Thai (of various varieties), Japanese, Chinese and Muslim. Desserts are plenty. Cash or online payment are accepted here.

Other stalls sell household stuffs like kitchen utensils, clothing, jewelry & trinkets, mobile accessories, fresh flowers, etc. Two not-for-profit shops operate here: Yuvaraksa Foundation and Pankan Society. They accept donations of unwanted second-hand stuffs and resell them at great prices. An organic supermarket, Lemon Farm, is also here.

The market also hosts a bazaar in its central area with stalls selling vegetables, snacks, dimsum, household groceries, etc. Most sellers at the bazaar are on a "rotating basis".

There used to be a good "used book" shop here, but it's unfortunate it moved out about a year ago.

Things on sales and offer here are generally of good quality (both food & stuffs). The place is well-run by MBK. Cleanliness is prioritised here, and foul odor is non-existent. The toilet is big and clean, but there's only one in the corner.

It's also connected to Max Value supermarket and The Nine community mall via a driveway and a pedestrian walkway, making this place literally an extension of The Nine.

As it is located just as part of Seri housing estate, many residents here are its regulars. Also because of its close proximity to The Nine office building, on weekdays, the market is rather crowded in the daytime with office workers. Parking is available either right out front in the yard or in its car...

Seri Market is one the cleanest food market and food court in Bangkok with variety of food, drinks, fresh fruits, and vegetables and many more local products.

“Right next to The Nine Neighborhood Center, the Seri Market is conveniently located on the ground floor of a parking building. There is a big, spacious food park with lots of local food as well as some Japanese and Chinese variety. There is also an excellent Coffee shop called Anaya Espresso Society at the back end of the building. There is a pharmacy, a few fresh meat stores, an organic produce store as well as many general stores here. Please be reminded that most of the shops stop preparing/cooking food by 7 pm

Lots of food to enjoy with reasonable prices but bewared that parkings are not sufficient around noon.

Came to Seri Market at The Nine Rama IX just to “look around”… next thing I knew, I was juggling grilled pork, mangoes, and a coconut smoothie like I was on MasterChef Thailand: Street Food Edition haha 🐷🥭🥥 This market is a full-on sensory rollercoaster — smells, sounds, sizzling woks, and aunties throwing chili like confetti 🌶️🎊

It’s not huge, but it’s stacked with goodies. Fresh produce looking like it got handpicked by angels, snacks that whisper “take me home,” and street food stalls that straight-up attack your self-control. One grilled sausage called my name like we were long-lost lovers 🥹💘 Even found fancy eggs I didn’t know I needed until they were already in my bag.

Prices? Pretty fair for a market this clean and cute. And honestly? Worth it just for the snack-hunting adventure. You’ll walk out full, happy, and maybe holding a papaya...
