The cost is comparable to a five-star restaurant, yet the service and portion sizes do not match up. The staff seemed inexperienced, particularly in serving and clearing dishes. Additionally, they took our change without asking. Our bill was 1265 THB (*including tax and service charge), and we paid 1300 THB. Instead of returning the change, the staff assumed it was a tip. We prefer to decide on a tip after receiving our change. This practice feels inappropriate and should be addressed to avoid similar experiences for other customers. However, actually lingering here is difficult. The food arrives incredibly fast, which is commendable in itself, but it becomes an issue when your main course is served while you’re still eating your appetizer. The main dish just gets placed next to you. Even worse, if you’re dining with two or four people, the dishes never arrive at the same time—always staggered—so you can never really eat together.
The menu offers a good selection, but I expected more flavor, especially given the name 4 Spices. Unfortunately, the dishes lacked that extra kick of Thai kitchen. A bit more boldness in flavor would have made the experience...
