Sensational Cuisine!!! A hidden gem from Chef/Owner Tiziana Vairolati, who has had Italian restaurants on Samui for more than 30 years. Baci had its past lives in Chaweng and now has a special spot in Bophut. Stunning design and Italian food to die for. The pumpkin cake with a light Gorgonzola sauce was unlike anything I’ve ever eaten. As was the jumbo gnocchi stuffed with shrimp and ricotta served with a divine seafood sauce. The food was so amazing that we went back 3 nights out of our 5 night stay. Tiziana uses her grandmother’s Genovese recipes. She is all about top quality ingredients and if she can’t source the best, she just doesn’t serve it. I recently dined at a charming Italian restaurant that left me thoroughly impressed with its culinary offerings. The food was simply amazing, embodying the rich flavors and traditional techniques that Italian cuisine is known for. From the perfectly al dente pasta dishes to the flavorful, aromatic sauces, each bite was a testament to the chef's skill and passion for authentic Italian cooking. The pizzas-bread, with their crispy crusts and fresh , transported me straight to Italy.

The service, while decent, didn't quite match the high standards set by the food. The staff was friendly and polite, but there were moments where the service felt a bit slow and disorganized. However, the delicious food more than made up for these minor inconveniences. Wow! What a restaurant. The food was Devine. We ordered Diavola pizza, lasagne and gnocchi and not one fault could be made. Pizza, light and flavoursome. Lasagne was truly delicious, traditional and hearty. Full of all the amazing flavours. And the gnocchi - this was a standout for me. Utterly melt in your mouth. Cooked to perfection and covered in a mouthwatering tomato based sauce. The owner is just beautiful! It is beyond clear she pours her heart and soul into her food. She is present on the floor of the restaurant and so kind and welcoming. At the end of our dinner she so beautifully offered our kids free ice cream.
