An amazing meal and even more more amazing staff. Had the pleasure of visiting Antica Locanda during a recent trip to Samui from the US. After a week of Thai food was looking for some comfort food and that's exactly what we found. The wood fired pizza was crispy with the perfect ratio of cheese to sauce. The saltimbocca was tender and flavorful as was the bolognese was the best I've had since my last trip to Bologna. The hidden surprise was the wine list! Ghet had an extensive list of Italian reds -- better than what we experienced at the 4-star hotel we were staying at. Ghet and the gentleman from Genoa were extremely helpful and gracious when we went to pay for our meal realizing we were short on Bhat and thier bank machine was not working. They worked with us until they were able to process the transaction saving me the embrassment of having to go back to the hotel for additional cash. I definately recommend this restaurant not only for the hospitality but for the qualitity and prepartion of truely authentic Italian...
