However, the pricing left me quite disappointed. I ordered a simple cup of tea and was served a basic Twinings tea bag, nothing special or premium. The price? 120 THB. Even for Koh Phangan this was shockingly expensive and completely unjustifiable. A markup is expected in cafes, but this felt excessive, especially considering that a box of the same tea costs less than that. To put this into perspective, at a neighboring cafe, Nira's Bakery, you can get the exact same tea for half the price.
