Bubba's Coffee Thong Sala — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

My friends and I visited Bubbas today and overall, we had a mixed experience. The food was undeniably delicious, and the drinks were refreshing. However, our visit took a sour turn when I discovered not one, but two hairs in my potato hash salad with bacon. Despite the unappetizing encounter, I continued eating until I found the second hair. Disgusted, I politely sent the dish back, expressing my concerns.

The staff offered to replace the dish, but by that point, my appetite was lost. I opted to only continue with my drink. To my surprise, when it came time to settle the bill, only the cost of the contaminated food was deducted. I requested a gesture of goodwill, such as removing the charge for one of our drinks, but was met with resistance.

While the quality of the food and drinks was commendable, the handling of the hair situation left much to be desired. It's disappointing when a dining experience is marred by such incidents and not adequately addressed by the establishment. Hopefully, Bubbas roasteryy (edit: Thong Sala coffee place not roastery) takes steps to improve their customer service protocols in such situations...

Wow the service is awful.. the blond western waitress arrogance is beyond words.

Me: "Can i order cofee and cake to sit?" Her: "Yes take away?" Me: "No i said sit here" Her: "Mmmm sit outside maybe?" Me: "No inside is it not ok?" Her: "Mmmm.. ok yea you can also sit inside , so big coffee right ? You can sit inside(angry face)"

Then I realized, it's the aircon, it's like 220bhat is not enough for a person to sit inside for 30 minutes and get his damn coffee. I lived on the island for years, this is first and last time in this worst coffee ever.

What Kho Phangan became is terrible, all these people that moved here really polluted this place with greediness and have no idea how things worked here. Soon they will stay here with their greediness when the place will become. Bali.

Every 5 minutes "did you finish the coffee? Should we take it?" Yes take it !!!

Btw - bakery is terrible, it is literally better anywhere else on the island.
