Breakfast heaven on Koh Phangan! If you’re looking for the ultimate breakfast spot — stop searching. Dots Coffee is the kind of café that instantly makes you feel at home, and then absolutely blows you away with flavor.
We tried several dishes and everything was simply exceptional. The omelette was soft, silky, and perfectly seasoned — served with fresh avocado and a vibrant side of tomatoes and herbs. The crepes were paper-thin and golden, served with ice cream and a sweet berry compote that felt like dessert for breakfast (and we loved every bite).
Another standout? Their homemade toast with pâté, topped with delicate swirls of butter, a drizzle of balsamic, and served with pickles and grapes — it’s creative, beautifully presented, and seriously delicious. Add to that fluffy bread slices on the side, and you’re in breakfast bliss.
And of course — the coffee! Smooth, rich, with perfect crema and beautiful latte art. Every sip was a treat.
The space is cozy, modern, and filled with natural light — with a peaceful vibe that makes you want to stay long after your last bite.
We’re truly grateful for the experience. It’s rare to find a place where everything — from the food to the atmosphere — hits the mark so perfectly.
Highly, highly recommended. We’ll...
Read moreI’ve been to Dots Coffee several times for their excellent coffee and matcha, which I think are worth the high price. But, my last visit was really disappointing...
I specifically asked if they have a green smoothie, and the staff confirmed they did. Yet, I ended up with a smoothie bowl instead. When I went back to clarify that I had ordered a drink, not a bowl, the staff told me that they don’t actually have a green smoothie as a drink. It seemed like she expected me to just accept her mistake without question. The situation escalated when the staff rudely remarked, "What? So you can't eat?!" after I insisted that I had not ordered a smoothie bowl. Following an uncomfortable back-and-forth, she finally agreed to refund me, and I chose another drink.
The whole ordeal left a sour note, not because of the order mix-up, but due to how they handled their mistake. It's disappointing when staff make you feel in the wrong for their error. Good service should be about correcting mistakes, not shifting the blame to...
Read moreI know people love it, and they have good things, however, it is exactly the kind of gentrified place I think we have too many of on Ko Pha Ngan and in the world. Digital nomads sipping expensive fancy coffees, staying there for hours as if there were nothing to do outside... You must consume 100thb/hour to be allowed to stay, which tells a lot about the kind of people who were just sticking around indefinitely because it reminds them their favourite coffee place back home... it's exactly like all the other coffee places back home, wherever home is. I understand why places like that are working, and at least they keep their clients captive inside, so there is less of them outside. I guess that's good for everybody then. Still three stars because the coffee and things to eat are nice, just crazy expensive like in any other place...
