I came here for dinner due to recommendations and was surprised to see how much more expensive this restaurant is in comparison to others on Koh Phangan.
On average this restaurant charges double the price of a normal restaurant in the area with as an example: 150baht for a mango sticky rice.
They do have one page with specials/recommended that is of normal pricing and of that list I got the chicken massaman and a thai milk tea. I asked for the tea to be the least sweet they could make it, the gentlemen said that was possible, yet the drink was still extremely sweet.
The taste of the massaman was nice, however a bit more sauce on the plate would have been great. The chicken was nice and tender and fell off its tiny bones easily. Be aware, there are tiny bones in the chicken pieces, for people who do not like that.
Overall the place is quite nice, has quick service, conveniently located next to the road and plenty of space available for big groups. I am not the biggest eater, so the special menu and the size of the plate was perfect for me, yet if you are a normal/big eater, you might have to order multiple dishes and for the money you'll spend here, you can probably eat somewhere else twice.

Read moreFarida Halal Food truly hits the spot — hands down some of the best Thai food we’ve had! 😍 It was truly impressive to see such a young woman running a large-scale business. The flavours were absolutely heavenly, every dish was perfectly balanced and rich in taste. The portion sizes were very generous, extremely generous. We visited multiple times during our stay, and it never once disappointed.
The restaurant itself is quite spacious. The service was excellent — friendly, quick, and attentive throughout.
Their Green Thai Curry, and pad thai was our absolute favourite — packed with flavors. 🌿🍛 And whatever you do, don’t miss out on the world’s best Tom Yum soup — seriously, it’s on another level!!! If you’re in the area, this place is a must-visit for authentic halal Thai cuisine that truly satisfies both...
