Khao Sok Eagle — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

I wouldn't go again, and that's not because of the food. Food is good :) but the service was bad. I went with my girlfriend, and after an hour of waiting she got her food, and after another half an hour I got mine. Her food was long gone, so were the drinks we ordered. I understand that if it's busy you might have longer waiting times, but this was simply too long for the food itself, and with the lack of communication about waiting times/expectations I felt it disrespectful to be welcomed in. The atmosphere is quite cool, but after all the long waiting times I had heard the song "never gonna give you up" and "I want to break free" three times.

And the tables/seats aren't very comfy.

We ate in this restaurant on New Year’s Eve, the food was very average and rather disappointing considering the reviews that we had read. I went to the toilet and it was filthy and I wish I had left before the meal was served!!! My husband ordered a Thai green curry and boiled rice, he mentioned that the rice was rather rubbery and the curry wasn’t that great but ate it anyway as we was hungry, at 4am the next morning suffered with the worse food poisoning he has ever experienced, that wiped him out for nearly a week and totally ruined our stay in koh sok!! Thankfully we had another 2 weekend in Thailand to enjoy as this experience nearly did ruin our trip to...

I had dinner here and it was just amazing. The food was delicious - I got a spicy chicken dish with rice and my boyfriend got a noodle dish which was even better. Drinks were delicious - I had a few mojitos and they were all very well priced, 80 baht each! Meals were also very well priced and service was pretty good - maybe at times a little slow but it didn’t affect us at all. The atmosphere was also lovely - there were lights hanging, and lovely bamboo furniture, and a friendly dog and cat too! I really recommend this...
