Excellent dinner experience. Quality live music, not too loud, great food, and off the charts service.

Constantly attentive to ensuring our drinks were full, and at the end of the night since the place is a bit remote, we asked them where to get a taxi from or if they could call one, and after the staff briefly huddled, the waitresses response was to personally drive us back to our hotel 15 minutes away in her own vehicle. It would have been easy to call a taxi or tuktuk (we saw hundreds of them in town), and we weren't in need of special treatment (two thirty something dudes), but we graciously accepted the offer, and she wouldn't accept any payment for the ride.

Lovely place across the bridge, along the river. It has a nice terrace overlooking a river and at the other side to a small pond. I specifically went to eat oysters - I thought it was quite pricey for 450THB for only five pieces, but as I was there I had it anyway. Ideally I would have had a glass of while wine with it but they don’t have wine on the menu. The service was lovely, very keen but even with google translate it took a guy to get the soda water with ice right :) I think they use this place for events and functions in the evening. There seem to have a stage...

Nice place by the river. Very quiet for a Saturday night, no band playing so the atmosphere could have been better.

Gaprao was very sweet but the southern Thai curry with cockles was fantastic.

Big Surat Thani oysters, 90thb each. Were creamy and meaty. Very good.

Service was ok but the worst thing is the other guest behind playing YouTube on full volume, staff didn't care about...
