want to say in the beggining that english, basic english at least, is must be in the restaurant! I know there should be spanish men, the owner, but he was not there, left the restaurant on the shoulders of not speaking english staff. We tried one time paella there and was trying to eat one more time but was closed in all times. So yesterday finally we saw it opened and decided to eat there. One women was very bad speaking english that she didnt understand when we asked is not dry paella with chicken. Came anothe women, also was not much understand what we asking. Ok we skip it, said that we order small paella mixed and asked them to start to cook it now, while we are choosing some appetizers. They said ok. After we order appetizers fried calamari, it came fast. After was another mistake of waiter women when i showed her in the menu by finger that i want fried fishes (26) and she brought anchovies in the oil.... after that we were already not satisfied about service and i already wanted to make review but with 4 stars, just to let know to the owner that he should fix this. But when 30 min passed and luckely i asked here - when paella will come? She answered - at 11o clock. What i understood that she confused my question with question when they closed. I repeated - when paella will come? She said - 30 min..... sorry we said, we already ordered paella 30 min ago. She asked - do you want to order paella??..... we were shoked to understand that nobody even started to cook our paella. Thats why now is 1 star. Our evening was ruined. Was already 10pm and all good places already closed so we left hungry with our kid... well thank you for nice dinner. Sorry but after that we ll...
Read moreI had an incredible dinner with Frank (the owner), the amazing restaurant staff, and my friends and also we did new friends from other tables... What started as a simple meal before heading to bed in Koh Phangan turned into a joyful night filled with delicious food, laughter, and an unexpected Karaoke session that ended with big smiles all around.
We were celebrating a friend’s birthday, and after enjoying some food and a few beers, the Karaoke kicked off—and, of course, we all joined in! It was impossible not to.
If you’re on the island, don’t miss out on trying their incredible dishes:
Freshly baked bread with allioli Patatas bravas with allioli Garlic shrimp And their super fresh ring squid It’s a spot you can’t skip while in Koh Phangan, and I’m already looking forward...
Read moreWe wanted to have a wonderful Spanish dinner in belief of the good reviews but got very disappointed. The owner was extremely unfriendly and unprofessional. I asked for the fan and he told me rude to turn it in myself. While he took our order we changed beer for mojito. That was too much for him to handle and he kicked us out of the restaurant as he felt disrespected that we changed our mind. Food is expensive too. Go to one of the many delicious Thai restaurants and support the local people instead.
Now after one year the owner replied to my review. We were not drunk. The only problematic person was the owner. His answer just confirmed his rude and disrespectful behavior again.
Most of the good reviews are made by his Spanish friends. Better stay away...
