Kokitchen Koh Changโกคิทเช่น — Restaurant in Trat Province

By the time of writing this review, I have been regularly visiting this place for almost a week. Overall rating for this was 4.7 and i feel it is still a bit under-rated. I'd rate it 5/5.

The location is convenient for those staying near Dewa or Vayna. It is run by an auntie and her brother.

Food is delicious, portion is hearty and price is better than reasonable, esp. if you order from the rice set menu. Fresh fruits and smoothies are also always available and always ripe and sweet.

Service is prompt and we never had to wait for a table, however, the food may take some time to prepare. Of course, the food will always be warm and fresh.

If we ever visit Ko Chang again, will definitely return...

🌟 Absolutely lovely family-run restaurant! 🌟

We’ve been to Kokitchen Restaurant twice, and both times were absolutely wonderful! It’s a lovely, family-run place — just a brother and sister working together with someone helping in the kitchen. They also have a small smoothie stand, and every day we stopped by for a smoothie or Thai tea to take to the beach.

When the restaurant gets busy, it can take a little while for the food to come out, but that’s completely understandable given it’s a small team. They were so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely apologetic after dinner for the wait — which made us feel even more cared for. The food was delicious, and the whole experience had such a warm, family atmosphere.

With a little understanding and appreciation, you’ll have a truly wonderful time at Kokitchen. Thank you for the great hospitality — we felt like part of the family! ❤️

ผมไปที่ Kokitchen Restaurant มาแล้วสองครั้ง และทั้งสองครั้งประทับใจมากครับ! เป็นร้านอาหารแบบครอบครัว มีพี่ชายกับน้องสาวช่วยกันทำงาน และมีคนช่วยในครัวอีกคนหนึ่ง นอกจากนี้ยังมีร้านสมูทตี้เล็ก ๆ อยู่ด้วย ทุกวันก่อนจะไปชายหาด ผมแวะซื้อสมูทตี้หรือชาไทยจากที่นี่ตลอดเลยครับ

เวลาร้านคนเยอะ อาหารอาจจะต้องรอนิดหน่อย แต่เข้าใจได้ครับเพราะมีแค่ทีมเล็ก ๆ เท่านั้น เจ้าของร้านทั้งสองคนใจดีมาก เป็นกันเองสุด ๆ และหลังมื้ออาหารก็ยังขอโทษอย่างสุภาพสำหรับที่ต้องรออีกด้วย ทำให้รู้สึกอบอุ่นและประทับใจจริง ๆ

So unbelievably yummy 🤤🤤🤤 This restaurant is a true hidden gem on this island💎 If you want authentic Thai food with amazing taste, you have to go here. The owners are so friendly and will make you feel like at home. We stayed 2 weeks in Thailand and traveled from north to south and this was the best food we had eaten. Thank you Chef for giving us this amazing experience. We will forever treasure...
