Chook Cafe ชุก คาเฟ่ (Breakfast Food and Drink) — Restaurant in Udon Thani Province

The Chook Cafe on Adulyadej Road, is a classy, friendly and pleasantly economical place, for; refreshments, sustenance, as well as relaxed conversation, right in the heart of Udon Thani City.

I have visited several times for coffee and lunch, including the curious and slightly decadent ‘Crispy Chicken Burfle (Burger + Waffle) which is showcased in one of Coffee Chill TV vlogs on YouTube.

A variety of seating, both outside and inside (mostly) is available, including some excellent people watching from the raised tables at the front of this cool coffee shop.

The drinks and dining menu seamlessly incorporates a fine mix of both Western ‘Farang’ and Eastern ‘Thai’ cuisine, all of which are fairly and served up with warm hospitality.

This is a small, quaint cafe. I had a wonderful Cafe Americano and a really terrific chicken waffle sandwich.

I was so happy to learn the shop opens at 7:00 in the morning because there are so few places to get good coffee that early in Udon Thani.

The chicken was moist, tender and flavorful, and nicely crunchy on the outside. The waffle was fresh and tasted lovely.

My sandwich came with mayonnaise and a slightly sweet and slightly spicy sauce, although most people would say it wasn't spicy at all.

The owner, Gift, speaks terrific English and is a great hostess. She has created a wonderful space with very nicely done interior design, much of which she chose herself.

I sat at the front windows with a great view out onto the busy Adunyadet soi, but completely removed from it and safely nestled into the atmosphere of the cafe.

If you come in a car parking might be a bit of a challenge but it's well worth the effort to visit this...

Chook Cafe in Udon Thani is a must visit for coffee fiends. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm and friendly service, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Mac and Opa will tend to your requests promptly and with a smile. But the real star of the show, however, is their coffee. I ordered a flat white, and it was superb, perfectly brewed, rich, and creamy, with just the right balance of espresso and milk. It's clear they take pride in their coffee making. Beyond the excellent coffee, the prices are surprisingly reasonable, especially considering the quality. It's a refreshing change to find such great coffee without breaking the bank. The cafe itself is a pleasant space to relax and enjoy your drink, whether you're catching up with friends or just taking a moment for yourself.
