Baba Hot Pot at Baba Pool Club
Baba Pool Club is one of Sri Panwa’s hotel resort restaurants and the place where you have breakfast when you stay in the hotel.
Baba Pool Club offers a special menu for hot pot dishes: Baba Hot Pot. It’s recommended to make a reservation in advance as well as ordering the side dishes in advance. We chose our table next to the ponds. It’s necessary that there is an electrical outlet next to the table as they use induction stove to heat up the pot with the broth. So only selected tables can be used. Especially not those that are located on low level between the pond.
We had preordered two types of broth: one spicy the other mild. For the ingredients we had chosen: Andaman shrimp, Australian Wagyu striploin, Udon and a veggie set.
Our waitress was very attentive and as it wasn’t crowded that evening we could start to have cocktails in the lounge area of the Baba Pool Club; as well as for the ‘digestive’ cocktail. We were lucky as a live band was performing at the Baba Pool Club, that contributed to an unforgettable evening.
