Visited this restaurant in Betong today with my family, and it was quite a disappointing experience. The food was just average — nothing special in terms of taste. Compared to other restaurants in Betong that offer tastier food at cheaper prices, this place is overpriced. The only plus point is that the environment is slightly better and cleaner than others. The biggest issue, however, was the poor service. We were seated in the air-conditioned area, but it was still very hot. So we asked a child to help adjust the aircond temperature. Suddenly, a staff member rushed in and shouted rudely at the child, saying “Don’t touch!” Then another staff member came in with a dark face and asked in a very rude tone, “What are you doing?” We explained we were just trying to adjust the temperature, and they simply said, “The temperature is automatic.” If you don’t want customers to touch the aircond controls, at least put up a notice or sticker saying so — but there was nothing at all displayed. Their reaction was completely unnecessary and made us feel very unwelcome. Unfriendly service, average food, and higher prices — definitely not a place we will return to or...

This is probably one of the best hidden gem restaurants in Betong. You'll need to head slightly further out from the little town centre, and easier if you have your own transport to get it. The quality of the food here is a level up and the prices are not too steep for the environment and it's overall dining experience.

The Thai crispy fish salad (that looks like an omelette) is fantastic, the steamed fish with lemon sauce was perfectly cooked and the Tom Yam that we had that night was the right blend of spicy and sourness.

We were sooo blessed to be introduced to this restaurant run by a lovely couple. The restaurant has an elegant appearance due to its unique design and with a beautiful atmosphere which is both breathtaking and welcoming. The meals are freshly made from healthy local ingredients grown by local farmers. It is simply the best tasting Thai food we have come across in a long time!
