The only catch is the view. The view is beautiful. You get to see the rice terrace. The price of getting a bean bag / bed by the pool (800k) is quite expensive considering the quality of the food. You could get a table elsewhere in the restaurant instead if you don’t mind not dipping. We were there during lunch ard 1pm and it was crowded so by the pool had minimum spend. The rest of the tables were free. We moved 3 times because we really wanted the sun and the pool and the view. But we didn’t came hungry however it was not tough hitting the minimum spend. We did a lot of eating, went into the pool and also walked a few doors down to do the activities (zip line across the terrace), after seeing some people in the air while being in the pool. The place also had their own version of Bali swing and clothes rental. Overall nice place and atmosphere. We stayed about 4-5hours trying to hit minimum spend for 2 pax. It was expensive tbh for the taste of the food and just to have a seat by the pool. In comparison, We did Finn’s club on the bean bags and the minimum spend was decent (cheaper than what we spent) with a very nice experience. Those are the food we had alongside with fish tacos. And many 4 additional drinks and we had to top up extra aside from the 800k they took initially

North of Ubud on an area to admire the Balinese rice field architecture you will find a cosy place for to relax. A pool offers at hot days a refreshing bath or just enjoy with a good drink , a snack or full meal - the young coconut is served chilled - and local dished the natural panorama. You will be welcomed and served from a very friendly staff. At present they offer it at very !! reasonable prices. Short Remark: when I had been there 35 years ago there had been only rice fields there and the road was very narrow 😃😃 The tables are very small, if you want to sit with more than 3, it becomes narrow. If you plan to go there with more than 2 a reservation is recommended - TIS is one of the top spots there. If you will arrive with a group make a reservation 24 hours before. Not made for handicapped or elderly people have problems with stairs. Renovated, bigger, one of the best places to go in Tegalalang. If you station your car on the new parking 🅿️ (there are 2) area ask for to be transported there by a bike driver - great service by TIS !! 👍

My husband and I were skeptical about this place potentially being a tourist trap. However we were pleasantly surprised by everything. We didn’t pay for the pool service but it’s worth it. 300k/person and you can chill by the pool all day and eat anything up to 300k (anything over you can pay extra of course) We just went for drinks initially but the views, the service and the atmosphere sucked us in 🫣 and we stayed for food, did the swing (they had a promotion for 150k for two people. We got a dress extra for 25k). The staff takes amazing pictures of you on the swing too. It’s free to enter the rice fields from the restaurant. However local farm owners may ask for a donation to walk through their fields. We walked around the terraces after 5pm and there was hardly any owners. We were there all day (not part of the plan) and the staff were so lovely and didn't pressure us to pay or leave. Only bad thing is there is no designated parking space. We had to park Ophir bike on the road.
