Cookin Vibez — Restaurant in Port of Spain

I myself fell ill after a meal here before the incendents I will outline below occurred leaving me to think that it was not worth returning here in any case but after a few months I took up an invitation from my coworkers to have a small get together. I've had more than a few people tell me to try the roast pork here, but as of now, I can't fathom why! Three separate occasions, three mind you, were all met with my party being served undercooked pork...madness! And the response in the moment to this situation was to bring MORE undercooked pork to us, seriously! I was a patron when the business was new and am keenly aware that most (if not all) of the initial staff have been replaced and not by locals and it seems that the taste of the businesses offerings have changed with their staff. This joint is for real!..... It seems to attract a cosmopolitan patronge that is truly reflective of 'Trini' people and vibe. The place is an excellent starting point, where Tourists can get a gist of how "Trinis" enjoy their Friday "night lime" while treating themselves to wide variety of familiar grilled meats/seafood/whole fish and a host of exotic West Indian sides. You can "lime" outdoors or indoors, the place has a nice "clubhouse" vibe, where "strangers" don't seem to exist. Great service, warm friendly ambience, competitive prices, superb food and menu. Pass thru with the Family or, "D Famaleee!!!" on a Friday or Saturday night, guaranteed great food and good vibes. We visited Cooking vibes last Tuesday after work with the intention of having a few beers, however, 👀 the food looked so good that we decided to try it. We ordered the Chicken Burger, Lamb Burger, the Sampler Platter, and a side of Roast Pork,😐 cuz we lil greedy🤣. The food was excellent, it was well prepared, and seasoned and very tasty and it was brought to us in a very timely manner. The Condiments tho😚, waw talk about Bess, we couldn't help ourselves with the pepper, Different, but I loved it. Oh and Ms Lopez👱‍♀️ our server was beautiful and offered excellent service, 😊😊. We all were very pleased with our experience at Cooking Vibes and will definitely be visiting...
