TGI Fridays — Restaurant in San Fernando

Service was absolutely appalling. Got there 15 mins after friends who arrived before. They ordered wings, about 7 minutes after sitting down a waitress came to is and took our drinks order, she had no clue what the beer selection was when I asked. The others in my party ordered coke she went and brought it for them and then I ordered my beer which she brought promptly, about half hour passes then the wings arrive at which point we can finally place our entrée order. We all had burgers. About 45 mins later the waitress brings two burgers, 10 mins after that another burger arrives and 15 mins after that the last burger came. All the burgers were so supposed to come with bacon. None of them did. We told another waitress who happened to be passing us about the issue she went and brought is bacon 5 mins later saying at the time our burgers were made they didn't have any bacon. 3 burgers were supposed to be medium well which they in fact were, one was supposed to be well done but that one was medium. The burgers also arrived without the wing bones and side plates being cleared, we eventually moved them ourselves to the adjacent table. When we are ready to leave one of our party goes inside and asks for the bill, we wait ten minutes and nothing. So we all get up and go by the bar and ask again for out bill. I stopped by this restaurant to order some dinner to go. The wait for my order was 20 minutes, so I decided to wait at the bar. They are a safe zone, so they check vaccination status and body temperature. At the bar, I wasn't offered a drink menu and was asked to place my drink order. I figured they carried many popular drinks because of this. I ordered 3 very popular mixed drinks (Moscow mule, sangria, martini) one after the other. Each time, I was told they didn't have that drink. I decided then to make it simple and ask for a shot of tequila, specifically Patron. I'm not sure exactly what type I was given but based on the color, I assume was Piedra or Burdeos, but even that I'm not so sure about because of how dark the color is. It was smooth nonetheless, and I enjoyed it, but it was such an interesting experience.

I ordered a rack of ribs with 2 sides and a side of wings. The food was good but I didn't enjoy the wings or fries. The wings were tough and the fries were very bland.

Overall, I recommend this location because I used to frequent it very often in the past and I chose TGI because regardless of where I go in the world, the food tends to be good. Service may leave more to be desired but the food...

My sisters and I carried my mom to your establishment on Wednesday 1st October for her birthday. We was really excited as we are regulars at TGIF, the waiter was pleasant no complain there but during our meal, I found a hair in my food which really turn the night for us especially myself as I immediately felt sick to my stomach, manager spoke to us and told me we wouldn’t have to pay for the meal. Apart from that dreadful experience we ordered drinks it took over and hour and more so we had it cancelled although the restaurant was basically empty. To then have my sister food come out cold, we told the waiter she said they usually hot the corn in a microwave so she took $20 off our bill since we honestly had enough and just decided to leave which definitely ruin the night for my mum. It was very disappointing how the night turned out. The staff to act as though we are being difficult when there should be some sort of standards behind your services. Service just kept going downhill from the very beginning. That’s how my mother’s birthday dinner went, thanks to your establishment.
