Charlie's Cafe — Restaurant in Trinidad

There is always a long line and never enough options. Imagine reaching there lunchtime and next to nothing is available. Don't even bother calling to place an order for pick up even though they say you can because they will tell you come to the shop. I always purchased their roti mix as it allowed me to get a little bit of everything, but instead of consulting with customers and raising the price if they had to they just took the option away completely for customers. The place is starting to look run down and all the faded pictures on the wall don't help. The food is good but it's not worth everything else I mentioned above and it like they refuse...

This 5 star rating goes specifically for the food. It is literally one of the few roti shops that gets all the dishes right!!!! Their breakfast options in the morning is really good and very tasty and well the lunch is superb. I love that there's a rice option as well as the roti because not many other shops do not offer that. The roti itself is thin and soft and very flavorful. The curry is next level. Top notch!!!! I do think they should employ other workers because the line is always long and half your lunch hour is spent waiting to get through. But overall, great! Definitely worth trying for those that havent...

Yes this roti at this Cafe is the best in the West. At times you got to wait a long time depends on the time you arrive for your roti. Customer service is good and the Mauby Drink reminds me of when I used to buy Mauby in my home district San Juan on block 46 by Daffney parlor. There is a great variety as well that all taste excellent 👌. Must cater for more chicken and beef lovers 😁😀. Nah just joking on that. I know stuff will run out at times due to the volume of people on any given day. But the food as well is great, but the roti as I said , the best...
