Salon De Thé le Pavillon Turquoise — Restaurant in Djerba Island

Food was good. Price is correct. The place is clean and nice. However not all waiters are friendly and polite. The first one at the entrance was very nice and acted professional. We wanted to sit in the upper floor but the waiters upstairs made us feel like we entered their homes without permission to take their food at 3 AM! They made the food experience bad with their behavior. I think the manager should pick professional waiters and train them well to greet customers and return smiles to people and act polite, otherwise they will lose lot of business. The last waiter at the third floor was friendly and nice and we tipped him accordingly however the other two ruined the experience and we will not be returning unfortunately because of them. Sadly I don’t recommend this place at all especially for the ones who have problems with smoking/chicha . I may recommend the first floor for a quite atmosphere and “fresh air “ . The staff were nice but the number of them was not enough to serve in such big space , so we had to wait around 40 mint for the staff to take our order plus another 40 for the food , because they were all over the place trying to do everything. Hygienically speaking , it was not clean especially the toilets , no tissue or paper rolls . Cleaning process may start/stop next to you while ur eating . I think they should make more effort into taking care of this...

UN RESTAURANT QUI REFUSE DE SERVIR - LE PAVILLON Une adresse à fuir personnel non accueillant et limite agressif

Nous sommes allés au Pavillon en espérant passer un bon moment, mais notre expérience a été très décevante.

Au début, nous avons pris une table au Pavillon et attendu une demi-heure pour recevoir les menus. Après avoir reçu les menus, on nous a informés, sans prendre notre commande, que nous devions nous déplacer au premier ou au deuxième étage, car le rez-de-chaussée était réservé pour le restaurant, où l'on ne pouvait commander que de la nourriture et non des boissons.

Nous avons accepté de nous déplacer, même si les clients aux autres tables avaient commandé des boissons. Une fois montés à l'étage, on nous a informés que toutes les places étaient réservées.

Nous nous sommes alors adressés au serveur du rez-de-chaussée, qui nous a répondu, avec indifférence, qu'il n'y pouvait rien faire (bien qu'il y ait d'autres places libres au rez-de-chaussée) et que le rez-de-chaussée du Pavillon était un restaurant qui ne servait pas de boissons. Nous avons alors répondu que nous souhaitions commander quelque chose à manger en plus des boissons et que d'autres clients consommaient uniquement des boissons. Il a simplement répété qu'il n'y avait pas de places...
