Caruso — Restaurant in Sousse

The waiter tonight (October 6th) decided he didn’t want to give us our change. He avoided us and wouldn’t make eye contact. This went on for 20 minutes until I got up and asked for the change. He said the rest was for him, and I said that I was going to tip him but that I wanted our change. He said ok but pretended to be confused for a while. When he came back after another 10 minutes he handed us a small amount and kept a 20% tip in his hand and said that it was his. At this point I just wanted to leave so I said ok and left. I would have tipped him something reasonable either way but that guy didn’t deserve anything, I’ve eaten at about 10 restaurants in Tunisia and that’s not how...

This is my favourite dining place in sousse. Food is DEL!! relaxing atmosphere at lunch and buzz and fun times during the evening. The waiters recognise you even if you visit the place for holidays once a year ( which I do ) and you always feel home. Always been a customer since they opened and before going through the different renovation stages . Renovating or not they always smashed it ....

The ambiance, DJ, and culinary offerings made for an enjoyable experience. Disappointingly, the live band failed to impress. Post-check settlement, a concerning incident occurred – our waiter attempted to charge an additional fee for a birthday celebration, which we had already paid.
