La Bruschetta — Restaurant in Tunis

I really enjoyed my birthday dinner at La Bruschetta they were really accommodating as I have coeliac disease and need to eat gluten free. They made a special plate so I could build my own bruschetta so a big shout out for our wonderful waiter Mohamed who was very attentive and good humoured which is a rare thing in Tunisia. My aubergine parmigiana was very testy though had a bit too much mozzarella. The bresaola on the prosciutto platter was incredibly delicious, their baratta is unctuous and the pasta dishes were very tasty. The prawns were well cooked which is also rare in Tunisia. My friend said her pizza was really good.. I’m spoiled by having travelled so much in Italy and used to authentic Italian food but this was very good and the setting is just beautiful...

I m sorry to say but I wouldn' t recommend this place for pasta. I ordered my favorite dish, tartufata tagliatelle, but it was obvious that the sauce and the pasta wasn't cooked together. Quick and great service. Superb atmosphere in the terrace. Ordered the sèche grillé, pizza Bianca and talgiatelli sauce rosé.
