Really lovely beach, convenient to get here from Tunis by taking the TGM tram from Tunis Marine (Tunis Nord) to La Marsa - end stop to end stop, 1800 DT, about 35 minutes.
The beach is a short walk from the station, lovely soft sand not too burning hot. Not a lot of natural shade but there is a beach club area where you can pay for a parasol - I was told that the parasol + table + chair come together but maybe that's the "tourist" package?
Water is great too, lots of families enjoying. 4 toilet cubicles for 1 DT, there is a person cleaning it but at your own discretion
