La Spigola, located in La Goulette—a neighborhood well-known for its bustling fish markets—delivers a posh and refined dining experience centered around fresh seafood. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with an impressive display of fresh fish, setting the tone for the meal ahead.

The dorado I enjoyed was cooked to perfection, reflecting the restaurant's dedication to serving high-quality, fresh fish. The appetizers, which are included in the meal, were generous and flavorful, providing a nice introduction to the main course. For a party of six, the price—under $200—felt like excellent value, especially given the quality of the food.

The only drawback is that La Spigola doesn't offer a waterfront view, which would have elevated the ambiance even more. Nevertheless, the upscale decor and friendly service make up for it. If you're looking for a fine dining seafood experience in Tunis, La Spigola is definitely...

La Goulette is all about fresh seafood and catch of the day. A dinner should cost you 60-80 TND per person depending on what you get and this place is definitely one of the fanciest on the street, perhaps best for tourists.

We had a seafood symphony and a couple of fresh fishes which were served with fries. Everything tasted great and portions were plentiful. For starters they bring you a couple of mezze dishes to share from olives, harissa, aubergine dip, bread, etc. It’s complimentary.

They also serve alcohol.

One thing I didn’t understand is why this place tries to be Italian, the name, the menu is half in Italian, etc.

Overall, very good experience even though once again the Tunisian staff and service leaves me in doubt, no smiles,...

I've spent a pleasant evening in this restaurant. It is very close to the sea in a street where there are a lot of restaurants. The local is very big, in fact there were a lot of people, it was Wednesday evening. The service was accurate and discreet, the attention of the waiters was very good..I appreciated it. There's a "corner" of a lot of types of fresh fishes where you can choose the one that you want. They are able to cook it in different ways: grilled, fried, steamed etc. The bill was good enough, but my therms of comparison is against Italy, so it isn't so much reliable....

Stumbled across this restaurant whilst looking for a nice lunch spot around La Goulette. Most of the eateries in the area are either overpriced targeting tourists, or low quality beachside places, so it was great to find this gem tucked away from the beach. Lots of locals, no English menu, but free wifi, so easy to translate. Very nice and friendly staff, and lots of free-of-charge extras, e.g. appetisers at the beginning, sorbet at the end. I had the prawn spaghetti, which was abundant and tasty.
