Les 3 Marins — Restaurant in Tunis

A true gem of a seafood place! We came from Ottawa to visit the City as usual and this has been our spot for a while now. Every time we come we have to be there at least 3-4 times during the stay because of how good it is. Believe me, sometimes even more…

The food, the atmosphere and the vibe is top notch and there’s nothing to complain about. Talk about the food, the seafood is as fresh as it gets and tastes absolutely magnificent. I’m someone who’s very intransigent when it comes to the food as you can see with my reviews of other places especially in Canada but this restaurant will always have a special place. To add on even more, the diversity of the menu is an absolute love.

Atmosphere wise, this time we came during the Euros which was an even stellar vibe during the games! Had a blast being there and enjoying the desserts when full from the food. I may be generous with this review which I rarely am, but come on, you have got to give credits where credits are due especially with such a stunning restaurant.

A little extra to add, you can see how passionate and intransigent the owner is when it comes to the quality of the place which shows how neat everything is. Best believe in my next trip I’ll be back as usual for a treat.

To end this little review, I truly don’t understand the 3 star rating but oh well, I heard you can’t please everyone in Tunisia… It gets an all star rating from me and cheers as always for...

Was taken here for lunch as part of an excursion. Unfortunately, the food was awful.

The starter was completely under-seasoned, followed by a main that was essentially an overcooked piece of chicken served with far, far too much elbow macaroni in tomato sauce - an unnecessary and frankly strange amount. A few vegetables were added on the side, and dessert was just some melon and a couple of dates.

One of the most frustrating parts was that there were no menus. While the food itself was included, drinks had to be paid for separately, but without any pricing shown. We ordered two Cokes, only to find out afterwards that they were 8 dinars each. Had we known, we wouldn’t have ordered them.

Overall, the food was atrocious, the service poor, and the experience disappointing. Would not recommend...
