Absolutely terrible experience at La paella. We were enticed by their Instagram reels, where the owner gave tips and promoted their seafood, but the reality was far from it. For 45 D, you get a tiny plate of rice with two flavorless shrimp overpriced and underwhelming. To make matters worse, the place was more like a loud Tunisian wedding than a high-end restaurant. The music was blasting, and people were dancing everywhere. We couldn’t hear each other, which is unacceptable for a fine dining experience.

On top of that, the service was a disaster. We tried to cancel our orders after the first dish arrived, but the staff insisted on bringing the rest, and it took forever. One of our friends ordered a steak, which came raw. We sent it back, and two hours later—after we had already finished eating—the steak was finally ready. The staff still tried to charge us for it, despite us canceling it earlier.

Warning: Chaotic Service and Dishonest Billing This was, without question, the worst dining experience we’ve had recently. The problems started with the kitchen: a single dish took a shocking two hours to arrive, and when it did, the Parmesan risotto had no Parmesan. The service was chaotic, but the worst part was the billing. We were forced to pay for five unauthorized charges after the staff flat-out refused to correct their error and insisted the bill was final. Nous avons réservé une table entre amis pour 5 personnes le 26 décembre 2024. A notre arrivée pas de trace de la réservation en question mais nous avons eu une table quand même. Le service n’est pas a la hauteur de nos attentes: entrée (tapas) non impressionnable du point de vue générosité ou saveurs. Il faut dire que les papilles ne sont pas relevées par la conjugaison des arômes ni de l’assaisonnement. On ne note aucune empreinte du lieu qu’on pourrait se remémorer. Nous avons souligné des remarques pour la cuisson de la cote a l’os( retour a la cuisine) l’escargot en sauce( Grinçant sous la dent),le manque de couteaux a steak au service, la sauce au champignons sans consistance, les plats au menu Mer sans accompagnement pour y s’accorder, manque d’attention de la part du personnel sur le plancher( on doit essayer d’attirer leur regard et ils affichent un air d’être dérangés par nos demandes), et j’en passe. Pour l’accord, le vin demandé et disponible ne l’était plus, le 2eme choix tarde a venir, et le comble de la soirée c’est la fameuse paella dont le chef vante les mérites qui a pris des lustres pour être servie, et qui n’avait aucun goût. Le service était rapide uniquement quand il s’agissait de servir l’alcool. On dirait qu’il y a la consigne de faire inonder le client le plus rapidement possible pour qu’il ne se rende pas compte de la banalité de ce qu’il va manger. Je ne recommande pas du tout et honnêtement pour être venu célébrer une occasion spéciale c’est raté. J’ai demandé a voir le chef pour lui faire part de nos commentaires, mais je n’ai jamais eu de retour. Belle attention.
