I had high expectations when I reserved a table for 5 people at this well-known restaurant, as it was my last day in Tunisia before returning to Dubai. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.

When we arrived, we were placed at a table in a very hot corner. After asking the staff several times to change our table due to the heat, they moved us, but unfortunately, the new table was directly in front of the kitchen. The place was even hotter and not comfortable at all, especially for my mother who suffers from high blood pressure. This made the whole dining experience very stressful instead of enjoyable.

What shocked me the most is that there were clearly empty tables available, yet we were not offered one of them. For a restaurant of this reputation, I expected much better hospitality and care for guests.

In total, I paid 325 TND, but I could not enjoy the meal at all because of the uncomfortable seating and the extreme heat. It was really disappointing to end my trip to Tunisia on such a bad note, as I wanted to share a nice dinner with my family before leaving.

I hope the management takes this feedback seriously, because the food might be good, but the service and seating arrangements completely ruined the...

The two stars are for the bad samosa, baba ghannouch, humus and Kebba. The samosa was made with dough not rolls and the filling is bland. The baba ghannouch was horrible, no acidity no tahini. The humus was disgusting, I ate a garbanzo paste, literally pure garbanzo, no tahini no acidity. And the worst one, the kebba. You can literally hurt someone with it. It was super hard and the filling lacked minced meat and it was bland. The service was scammy, we ordered one order of mixed kebab for 36 TND, and the dude brought mixed grill for 4 people that cost 130 TND. It was a scam, we were two persons and we ended up taking the rest to go. The kebab was decent! We left the appetizer as it was horrible. Bottom line, do not order the humus and the rest of the dips and appetizers. And beware of the server, ask him to repeat the order and make sure you point to the dish you want to order on the menu and...

recently dined at Sultan Ahmet restaurant and had a delightful experience. The food was outstanding, with rich flavors and authentic dishes that truly stood out. From the appetizers to the main courses, everything was prepared with great care and attention to detail.

The welcoming atmosphere added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. The staff was friendly and made us feel right at home as soon as we walked in. Their hospitality was warm and genuine, creating a pleasant dining environment.

As for the service, it was satisfactory. While it wasn’t exceptional, it was decent and met our expectations. There is room for improvement in terms of efficiency and attentiveness, but overall, it didn’t detract from the enjoyable experience.
