A missed opportunity is how I would best summarise my experience at WokThai. The menu is the right "size" to offer both newcomers and connoisseurs a good overview of Thai cuisine, without being overwhelming and presenting too much. That is, however, where my points of appreciation stop. The food is nondescript at best, and bland even when the menu promises 3 chillies worth of spiciness. What I also did not understand was the constant presence of a fried egg on top of every dish... why? A final minus point goes to the fact that the guest is free to choose which curry paste (red, yellow, green) to combine with the dish chosen, but that is not an interchangeable element. The atmosphere was great and the service was brilliant. The waitress was the nicest and most accommodating person ever, she was kind patient and she explained the things that we couldn't understand. The entrees were brilliant we had these chicken and beef skewers with rice, those were my favorite plates along with the shrimp tempura, I'd definitely go back for those. For the price, the food was abundant, so much veggies and chicken. I enjoyed it. The only stipulation I had would be towards the soy sauce, I think that it overpowered the rest of the flavors and basically was the only thing that you could taste...
