This place was recommended in a YouTube video from “Two Mad Explorers,” they said they ate there everyday & claimed it was the best Pide. They weren’t wrong! We stopped by for dinner on a Saturday & the place was busy but not packed, most people were sitting outside on the walkway. We found a table quickly and were helped right away. We ordered the traditional meat Pide & a chicken + mushroom Pide - they were both excellent. An unassuming spot for one of our most memorable meals in Turkey. This place sets the bar high for Turkish lahmacun and pide. A little help from Google translate helped us navigate the simple menu and the owners were so gracious to also offer help as a group. Food was prepared and cooked before our eyes in a huge wood-fired oven. We highly recommend the lahmacun—make sure to roll in the veggies and be generous with squeezing the lemon that comes with it.
