Usta Adanalılar Çanakkale — Restaurant in Çanakkale Merkez

Be aware that if you don't speak Turkish, all they are trying to do is to get as much money from you as they can. We sat down, and a waiter came to us. He didn't speak English, and then a second one came who spoke very good English. We asked specifically if they had a meal without lamb or mutton because we don't eat it. He said they did. We wanted to order a meal from the menu, but he said they didn't have them because it was late and they would close soon. After five minutes, a Turkish family came and ordered and got the meal for which the waiter had told us they didn't have it because it was late. He recommended to us a meal from the menu (the most expensive one, of course) that was more than double the price of all the other meals, and he said it was for two people. My wife asked twice if it was without lamb or mutton, and he said yes and smiled. Now I know why he smiled. Because he fooled us. My wife also asked if this was the price for two people, and he said yes. When we got the meal, it was nicely served, but everything was lamb and mutton, except for a few chicken wings. We ate the chicken wings without complaining because we realized that for them, we were just two tourists whom they nicely fooled. When I went inside to pay, the cashier said the price was per person. I said that the waiter had told us that the price was for two, but the cashier said, "I don't know what the waiter said to you, but this is the price." So I paid.If you are a tourist who doesn’t speak Turkish and you don’t eat lamb, avoid this place because you can expect to be fooled as we were. I also recommend that all Turks avoid this place because businesses like this ruin the reputation of Turks as...

Çanakkale'de sokak arasında salaş, hijyenden uzak ortalama altında bir mekan...Bir daha gider miyim? Gitmem.. Nereden başlasam bilemiyorum, adının adanalilar olup ta adana ile ilgisi olmayan sayısız mekandan biridir sanırım.. Adında Adana geçiyor diye yemek yenilebilir anlamina gelmediğini bu mekan birkez daha bana gösterdi.. Adana ismi bu mekanda yanıltabilir sizi.

Mekana geldik , kaba bir garson acayip bir sipariş alma , devamında siparişi verdikten 10 dakika sonra kusura bakmayın yemek istediginiz ürün kalmadı dendi ve yemek istemediğim ürünleri yemeye teşvikler vs.. Masaya gelen ikramlıklar baştan savma yapılmış, ozenilmemisti, lavas , pide ,ekmek, servisi bile yapılmadı istedik dakikalar sonra geldi... İkramlar geldi, içecek gelmedi, içecek geldi bardak yok, pipet yok, pipet geldi yemekler gelmedi.. İşim gereği gastronomi ile yakından ilgiliyim, bir çok ülke ve şehir gezdim.. festivaller, sokak restauranlari , restaurantlar, lüks oteller de deneyimler yasadim.. Hayatımda hiç bir kebabcida 1 saate yakın süren 4 adana ve 1 ciğer servisi görmedim.. kaldiki Kebab hızlı yaşayanların yemeğidir.. Neyse yemekler geldi, tekrar gitti çünkü başka masa siparişini bize getirmisler..Geri gittiler, tekrar beklemeye başladık. Nihayetinde 1 saate yakın süren bekleme sonunda masaya yemeğimiz geldi. Bu arada piyaz soğan, turşu , maydanoz ve masaya zorla getirttigimiz pide ile karnimizida doyurduk.. Türkiye'de her yerde bulabileceğiniz ortalama altı kebablardan birini deneyimlemis ve ustunede gecikme ve yanlışlıklardan dolayı stres yapıp evimize döndük.

En komik olanida masada 4 yetişkin ve 1 çocuk oturuyorduk, bütün bu yaşananlarin üstüne 2300 TL hesap odedim, (sanki Bedri üstada yedik) akşamın sonunda ellerimizi silmek için ıslak mendil istedik sadece 2 tane getirdiler..Bizde napalim ikiye bölüp elimiz temizledik:-)))

İnsan bir sıcak çay ikram eder degilmi, maalesef onuda düşünemedi bu mekan.. Adanalilar cömerttir, misafirperverdir ama bu arkadaşlara sanki Çanakkale havası yaramamış..

Özet; Aç iseniz Kendinize başka bir yer bulun..Yada simit alıp çay ile...

I visited Usta Adanalılar Çanakkale on 25/08/2019 with my family. We were 5 Adults and 2 kids 5 & 6 years. When we want to order there was no menu because mostly what they serve is barbecue meat (kebap).

The food was delicious and tasty but unfortunately we were shocked with the HIGH price mentioned in the invoice which was 470 TL / 82 USD

If we divide this price on lets say 6 persons it would be 78 TL / 13.8 USD, Knowing that the max price of meal in Canakkale or other cities in Turkey would be 45 TL / 8 USD in a restaurant like this one.

So if you want to visit this place you should ask about the price...
