Ekşi Maya Cafe — Restaurant in Çankaya

I have been many times in the Maidan branch. It was my first time in this branch. You can rest assured that you will definitely have a great experience. The fact that the place cares about the customer is one of the first details that catches the eye in this branch. The fact that every product at breakfast is carefully selected, that there is always someone checking your tea, the taste of the bread, which is indispensable for breakfast, everything is exactly as it should be. One of the best places for breakfast in Ankara. The bakery makes fantastic breads also. You gotta try. The name says it all "Sour Dough" (Ekşi Maya). The establishment is also connected to the hotel Divan. The staff is associated if not the same. Though I have never been there later in the day, both the venue & the ambience looks perfect for a quite night with someone special. Beware of the possibility of running into families with toddlers/babies in the breakfast/brunch also. Can't complain about the service, but it could have been better nonetheless. "Price/performance"wise it is more than OK, but as you can tell the place...

Köpeğimle geleceğim için Maidan şubesini arayıp cinsine boyutuna kadar teyit ettim ve birazdan geleceğimizi söyledim kahvaltı saatiydi ve konuştuğum kisi kahvaltının bitiş saatine dair bir bilgi vermedi. Geldiğimizde isletmenin muduru kopegimizi gorunce zaten cok menuniyetsiz ve yuzu dusmus sekilde bizi aldi ve bize o an yine bir bilgi vermediler kahvalti saatini kacirabilicegimize dair ve bizim siparişi vermemiz bir 10 dakikayı buldu. Garson geldiğinde kahvaltının bittiğini söyledi ve sadece 10 dakika geçmiş o anda söyledikleri bitiş saatinden. Köpeğimiz büyük ve hem yol yapmak hem de mekanda sakinleştirmek zaten zor oluyor ve biz sırf orada kahvaltı yapabilmek için gelmişiz. Mudur adı altında bize durumu açıklamaya gelen kisinin son derece anlayışsız ve hoşgorusuz üslubu ve tavrı inanılır gibi değildi, bizi suçladı ben size baktım siz garson çağırmadınız diyerek ve bizim oradaki köpeğimizi sakinleştirme sürecimi filan gayet gördüler. Hiçbir müessese müşterisine 10 dakika için su muameleyi uygulamaz en yoğun olan zincir restoranlarda bile ben böyle bir şey görmedim. Kaldı ki bize girdiğimiz an söyleseler biz yine hızlıca siparişimizi verirdik. Ama isin asli zaten bizi kopekle oldugumuz icin ilk andan istemedi beyefendi ki ustu kapali kovdu gibi birsey oldu. Yoksa bin tane yapici orta yol bulunabilirdi hersey kibar bir iletisime bakiyor sonucta. Ama mudur basta olmak uzere butun ekip, telefona bakan kisi dahil profesyonellikten cok uzak bir sistem haline gelmis malesef eski eksi maya kalitesini bekleyenlere.. Birde tabii dort ayakli cocuklarinizla gitmeyi dusunurseniz tabiki havyan aliyoruz demelerine kanmayin kesinlikle hayvansever bir muessese degil. Keyifli bir kahvalti diye cikip su gereksiz huzursuzlugu yaşadığımızla kaldık maidan da kopek alan başka mekanda olmadığı için bir de ac bir şekilde geri donduk: )...
