Espressolab Üsküdar Altunizade — Restaurant in Üsküdar

This morning I went to a café near my home, where my daughter and I are regular customers. I ordered a lemon cake with my coffee, but when I tried to eat it, it was so old and hard that I couldn’t even cut it. I complained to the staff, and she told me all the cakes were like that. I asked her to replace it with something fresh, and the only option she gave me was a small marble cake. I don’t like marble cake, but I had no choice, so I accepted it even though it was cheaper than the lemon cake.

When I mentioned the price difference, she said it was my choice and that they were being generous by replacing it at all. I was very upset. In most cafés and restaurants, not only in Turkey but around the world, when customers give feedback, the staff apologize and often replace the item free of charge. Here, I was given a cheaper cake and told it was generosity.

Sınav döneminde neredeyse her gün gelip ders çalıştığım bir mekan. Tercih etmemin en büyük sebebi kesinlikle hijyeni temizlikten sorumlu arkadaşlar neredeyse her on beş dakikada bir tüm katları ziyaret edip masaları temizliyor. Lavaboları da aynı şekilde hep aynı temizliğe sahip. Barista arkadaşların güler yüzlülüğü kapıdan girdiğiniz anda enerjinizi yükseltiyor ve hazırlamış oldukları kahveler gerçekten çok lezzetli. Mekan yapısal olarak da bir çok açık ve kapalı alana sahip. Aydınlık ve ferah oluşu cezbedici. Üsküdar'ın özellikle Altunizade kısmının ihtiyacı olan hizmeti sağladıkları için emeği geçen herkese çok teşekkür ederim. Gelmeye kesinlikle...

Üsküdar Altunizade şubesinin yapmış olduğu jest çok hoşuma gitti. Gece saat 2 gibi sıcak çikolata içmek için buraya geldim ama o saat aralığında temizlik olduğunu ve hizmek veremeyecek olduğunu belirttiler. Ama yarın gelin sizlere ikramımız olsun dedi kasada duran Arda bey. Dediği gibi ertesi gün geldim ve sözünde durup sıcak çikolata ikram etti hemde para teklif etmeme rağmen sizin memnuniyetiniz önemli deyip geri çevirdi. Belki küçük saçma gelebilir size ama benim fikrim firma böyle çalışma arkadaşlarına sahip olduğu sürece markasını hep zirvede taşır....
