Avzem Alkolsüz Cafe Restaurant — Restaurant in Amasra

The restaurant has everything to satisfy the customers: a spectacular view on the sea, a quite comfortable terrace. Unfortunately many negative points affect our experience and here are the reasons for my very low rating:

First of all the place is nice but does not look very clean at first sight. The decoration could be improved, there is a huge potential with this place which is not at all exploited by the owners.

Secondly, I ordered an omelette and a toast and I was very disappointed by the quality of the food. The value for money for the omelet is really bad. There is nothing to go with the omelet except for a few slices of tomato and cucumber. The taste of the omelet was ok but the presentation of the plate did not really give the desire to eat it. Also, it did not make us full, the portions are very small, the omelette is extremely thin. We asked if fries were included in the dish but the server came back and told us there were none. Ok but you could at least make an effort on the quantities. For the toast, it was really very basic compared to what Turkish cuisine offers. It's unacceptable to serve the toast with industrial fries which have a bad taste. Finally, the service is limited, no sauces to accompany the industrial fries. And it is also weird to see the cooks eating in the kitchen while sitting at the table in the restaurant.

In the end we are very happy to have spent about 40TL only. We strongly advise against going to this place, there are plenty of other cleaner restaurants in the city with tastier dishes. If the owners make a consistent effort with the food, the prices, the cleaning and the service in the future to improve this place, I will go there again. Manzara eşliğinde akşam balık yemek için restauranta gittik ve girişte de konuştuk manzara tarafındaki masalardan biri boşaldığında oraya almalarını rica ederek 5 kişi mutfağın önündeki tek boş masaya yerleştik. Siparişlerimizi verdik geldi bir süre sonra manzara tarafındaki masalardan biri boşaldı ve durumu ilettik onlarda girişte bizimle ilgilenen beyefendiyi çağırdılar ve bize siparişinizi verdiniz masanıza geldi diye geçirmedik dediler neden çünkü dışarıdan insanları da manzara tarafında boş masamız var diye içeriye alıyorlar ve bekletiyorlar. O şekilde gelip bekleyenleri manzaraya aldılar. İyi bir işletmecinin davranışı asla bu olamaz. Ayrıca bunun için hiçbir mahçubiyet dahi duymadılar. Üstelik yemek sonrası çay istedik çayımız yok dediler. Demleniyor falan da değil direkt çayımız yok! Birkaç masada daha aynı şekilde oldu. Kesinlikle tavsiye etmiyorum. Bir daha asla gitmem kimseye de asla tavsiye etmem. Amasra'da gidilecek yer belli macera aramaya gerek yok gerekirse bir saat masa beklerim ama servisi de mekanı da 5 yıldızlı yerde yerim. Öncelikli tercihimiz alkolsüz ve temiz olmasıydı. O çevrede tek alkolsüz yer olduğunu söylediler o yüzden bu mekâna girdik ancak çok memnun kaldığımız söylenemez. Temiz bir yer değildi, elimizi yıkamak istedik lavabonun üst katta olduğunu söylediler çıktık ama çıkmaz olsaydık zaten üst katı görünce keşke girmeseydik dedik. Çalışanlar ilgiliydi fakat biraz laçkalık vardı açıkçası. Mesela müzik çalıyordu kız müziğe yüksek sesle eşlik etti falan, canlı müzik istesek öyle bir yere giderdik.. Yiyecek olarak balık ekmek istedik normalde balık ekmeği orada servis yapmıyorlarmış paket siparişmiş ama sağolsunlar kırmayıp getirdiler. Çalışan sipariş alırken salata koyulsun mu diye sordu evet dedik ekmek arası için sordu zannettik fakat kocaman bir salata tabağı geldi. Biz oranın yabancısı olduğumuzu söylememize rağmen bu salata konusunda bir ayrıntı verilmedi bize. Gelen balık ekmeğin içinin de yarısı boştu o yüzden balığın lezzetini pek alamadım.
