Food Court — Restaurant in Arnavutköy

Specifically reviewing the Pasa Doner location at the corner of this food court. The food court itself is upstairs (escalator available) easy to get to and clean, but one thing I didn't like was how lacking the food options were with predominantly mainstream western fast options taking up space like Popeyes, Subways, Burger King etc. We decided to try the Pasa Doner as it was one of the few local chains - asides a neighbouring Pide place. Location and seating are great! Be sure to sit at the back if you end up here - the chairs are comfy, with some booths available, and it's tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the airport below. Service was really friendly and quick - after you order at the front they bring your food to wherever you're sitting. We tried the Carnaval platter (chicken, fries, onion fries, pita) and coffee cake (which was passable but made way too sweet; according to the server it was the best dessert option so don't go here for dessert). We did enjoy the platter presentation, which was served in a tray with a candle beneath to keep the food warm; however, the food was disappointing - everything was salty, bland and way overpriced (we spent almost 600 TL!!). For airport food with minimal options I guess it's ok to grab something smaller/a quick bite, and food asides, it is a nice area to relax, but I truly can't recommend based on flavour & value.. What a disgrace and a scam! I ordered a sandwich and drink at Subway. They must have misunderstood me. No I don’t want a sandwich made out of edible money… insanely expensive (EUR 28). Staff utterly incompetent, uninterested and the sandwich was not even nice. Entire food court is full of overpriced restaurants and uninterested staff who should quit their jobs. So little effort and pride in what you do....

Arby’s tried to stole my money! They trying to put a lot of extras and double it even. They charge extra taxes, when it’s clearly said all included, and no sign said you have to pay tax also. And there nothing said about size of potato or drink it’s suppose to come with. Had to confront them and void the check, make new payment.
