During my recent transit at Istanbul Airport, I had the pleasure of trying Saltbas Burger, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. Located conveniently at the airport, this burger joint is a must-visit for any traveler looking for a delicious meal.
The first thing that impressed me about Saltbas Burger was the friendly and efficient service. Despite the busy airport environment, the staff was attentive and provided quick service. They were more than happy to assist with any questions and were knowledgeable about their menu.
Speaking of the menu, there was a wide variety of burger options to choose from, catering to all tastes. The selection ranged from classic beef burgers to veggie burgers, ensuring that there is something for everyone. I opted for their signature Saltbas Burger, and it was a mouthwatering delight. The patty was juicy and flavorful, complemented perfectly by fresh toppings and a soft bun. The fries on the side were freshly cooked and deliciously crispy.
The quality of the ingredients used at Saltbas Burger was exceptional. Everything tasted fresh, and the burger was made to order, ensuring maximum freshness and flavor. The portion sizes were generous, satisfying even the heartiest appetites.
The pricing at Saltbas Burger was reasonable, especially considering the location. The quality of the food, combined with the quick and friendly service, made it great value for money. It was the perfect meal to enjoy during a layover at Istanbul Airport.
In conclusion, my experience at Saltbas Burger in Istanbul Airport was fantastic. The delicious burgers, friendly service, high-quality ingredients, and reasonable prices make it a must-try for any traveler passing through. I highly recommend Saltbas Burger for a satisfying and tasty meal...
Read moreI have done transit in IST quite a number of times and seen this place but resisted against trying in the past. However when you walk around and compare with the prices of fast food in the terminal, I guess this time round I'm convinced to pay a little more and hope its a better meal. Decided to visit at 130am and its almost time for them to close at 2am. However, the staff still welcomed me in and served me the menu. I asked for differences between the burgers and the staff were also able to explain well and recommended me items to try. Didn't want too heavy late at night so just got a burger and a side first. The onion chips turned out to be better than I expected, though a little too oily but it was so crispy and tasty. Was deciding between the juicy and the saltbae burger and ended up ordering the latter. Though they seemed to be pretty similar, the difference is more on the bun which is a squid ink charcoal bun. The burger was good and the beef patty was so tender and juicy it was like a good supper surprise. It looked small but was actually quite filling. Wanted to order the set but it was pretty inflexible you couldn't swap items so ended up ordering ala carte instead. Ended up the staff tempted me and asked if I wanted to order dessert before the kitchen closes and I got a pistachio baklava. It was not bad too, with some theatrics including while serving the dessert. Overall enjoyable and a very satisfying supper, couldn't have asked for more. A little on the expensive side but is definitely worth the price and the quality of food. Don't believe me take a walk around the airport and when you see fast food restaurants charging exorbitant euros for a meal I believe you might want to turn back and pay a little more for...
Read moreIf you're contemplating to eat in this place, I highly recommend NOT to go. The workers are not generous and seem like they don't respect customers. What happened: We ordered the Woow menu, and the woman worker even asked us which one from the two woww menus, so we ordered the one with cake instead of baklava, and as it was our first time eating we thought that the cake was the one (that can be seen in the photo uploaded) so we were surprised thinking that the cake came in a interesting way. Also a soft drink is included and she asked us which soft drink so we told her. The woman worker was the one in front of the restaurant taking in the customers, so another man worker gave us the food and the bill. BUT later the price was way higher than the one we asked for and apperently the workers had miscommunicated and gave us a different menu. We clearly told the woman worker our menu, and when we complained that this was not the price of the menu, she knew it was her mistake but she just 'shushed' us and said okay okay and the man worker that got our bill was like "you already ate the food". The thing I didn't understand was that if the workers had miscommunicated and ended up getting us the wrong menu, don't they have to be more respectful and not blame the customers for their misactions? We were complaining and talking about the situation, and both the man and women workers just walked away in the middle of our talk. Not a pleasing experience and worse (customer service), especially at the end of our Turkey trip, which could have ended up happy. This made it a bad ending to...
