Shake Shack — Restaurant in Arnavutköy

They try to cheat costumers, look at the prices, unacceptable service! Almost 40€ for a double cheeseburger, with 2 bacon dades and 2 waters.

We went to order to Istanbul Airport Shake Shack and they laughed at us. The price of water (small) was 31 tl and they wanted to charge us 100 tl for a premium brand that we had not ordered. Then I asked for a double cheese bacon and because they wanted they added 2 units of extra bacon at 100 tl each unit. For those who do not know, 100 tl is about €5. In this way they charged us €20 only for 2 waters and two units of bacon. When I went to ask for an explanation, the girl laughed directly knowing that she had overcharged us and without apologizing while laughing at us, all she was going to do was cancel the water. I think is totally unacceptable that their standard policy is about cheating customers. Seeing such an attitude, I asked him to cancel the entire order. Honestly, I love Shake Shack and it annoys me that outside of their country of origin the brand is denigrated in this way, especially by purposely ripping off their customers. In my case, it's a shame, but I'll never go back. It's a pity bcause I didn't save the ticket and the name of the person who attended me, but my order was made around 2:00 p.m. the 21st of January 2023 at Istanbul Airport. Saddest Shake Shack I’ve ever had the displeasure of eating.

Everything about the execution to the ingredients were subpar and mediocre.

When ordering I asked to buy a water bottle and cashier offered me a Fiji water bottle on the counter. Looking at the refrigerator case, there was a water bottle for less than double the price but she kept insisting that I get the water bottle from her at the counter.

I kept asking if I could get the water from the case and she said this is the water. I paid $6 USD for a water when I could have gotten it for $3 USD instead.

A burger, regular fries and water came up to $25 USD and I struggled to finish it because it didn’t taste good.

I do not recommend Shake Shack here as the brands quality and consistency doesn’t extend to Turkey.

Instead visit the Slim’s Chicken next door which is far superior in quality and the chicken was made to order and so fresh.

I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich at this shake Shack and it was really delicious. I've wanted to try the restaurant for years now and finding a halal version hasn't been that easy in the United States. Lucky to find this restaurant in Turkey! The spicy chicken patty is not too spicy, but has a delicious taste. The size of the sandwich however is very small and it probably won't get you full if your looking for a filling meal. One star missing due to price point, which is insanely expensive (spicy chicken sandwich alone for 120 lira), which is robbery at this point. I was also surprised that the spicy chicken sandwich was around 30Lira more expensive than a regular chicken sandwich which also does not make sense since 30lira is the cost of a regular burger.
