Their homemade noodles – wow, I felt like I was in heaven. Probably some of the best noodles and soup I’ve ever tasted, and I say this as someone who travels a lot and loves exploring different cuisines and traditional dishes.
The soup was incredible – I honestly couldn’t believe the price. I’d happily pay four times what they charged (it was only 165 TL!). It came as a super flavorful, pho-like broth with tender beef chunks, scallions, a bit of chili oil on the side, and the freshest noodles. The noodles were perfect – soft yet chewy, with amazing flavor. Definitely a 10/10!
Then there was the spicy beef noodles (around 200 TL!!!!) – so simple but unbelievably good. It’s a kind of chili oil dish, and the flavors were just on point. Easily one of the best noodle dishes I’ve had in a long time. Honestly as a person who cooks a lot I’m gonna try to learn as much from this dish as possible whilst dreaming about it and hoping to find again! Also I didn’t add that I ate half of my dads portion and order another one because it was so delicious. 😏
But sometimes, good things have to come last, even though they happened first. I did have a bit of a strange experience when I first arrived. I think it was due to a bit of a language barrier, and we didn’t communicate very clearly with each other. For a moment, I even felt awkward, almost like they thought I wasn’t serious or that I’d come there to joke around. The lady serving us seemed unsure, maybe even a bit skeptical.
However, once we got past that initial misunderstanding, everything turned around, and the experience was wonderful. Just a minor hiccup that didn’t take away from how amazing the food and hospitality were in the end!
Even tho the name is ramen house they don’t serve ramen( I guess the langzhou noodle soup is not a great name for a restaurant haha) but there is nothing to be sad about because the langzhou soup is so so so good! Give it a go and you...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at a newly opened 1867 ramen house today, and it was an exceptional experience. The restaurant's atmosphere is clean and inviting. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home with their genuine smiles.
As for the food, it was simply outstanding. The noodles were perfectly chewy, the broth rich and flavorful, and the beef tender and juicy. Every bite offered an authentic taste of Lanzhou. I especially recommend their beef noodle soup and spicy and salads ; they're absolutely unforgettable.
In conclusion, this Lanzhou noodle restaurant excels in both service and cuisine. I highly recommend everyone to give it a try—I believe you'll love it as...
