Espressolab Bebek — Restaurant in Beşiktaş

Best latte I had in Turkey (I only had 2 lol, but this one was really, really good. I’d go again.)

Staff was friendly.

Views were great but all the smoking killed it for me. The smoking section was outdoors and separated by a door, but indoors was just as smoky. Would not have sat inside, except that I really needed to use their WiFi and it wasn’t working on their patio.

Which, was pretty horrible. To connect to their WiFi, you have to get a verification text, which is stupid, since people who need WiFi probably don’t have a phone line… or log in with Facebook… but at the last step, after jumping all their hops, there’s an error. I tried 3 times. Does not work. Wasted time, energy, valuable data, and inhaled a lot of smoke. Don’t water your time trying.

Very poor experience at the Bebek EspressoLab. They didn’t want me to pay cash and asked multiple times that I pay by card. I told them I didn’t have a card on me and they finally took my money. I waited ten minutes ti get my drink. All the Turkish customers (8 of them) that arrived after me - I know as I was in the corner waiting and listening to their order etc- were all served before me. I asked after customer 5 where was my drink and I was told to wait . The lady next to me was ordering a cappuccino and got it within less than two minutes. Once no customers were left at the till or waiting, they made my drink. I might not speak Turkish but I live in the street. Poor poor customer service and...

Dear espressolab team, I would like to express my appreciation for a gentleman working at your Bebek branch. He warmly welcomed everyone and ensured they were comfortable and enjoying their time. He diligently kept all tables clean, ensuring no empty cups were left around. His politeness extended to bidding farewell with 'iyi aksamlar efendim, kendinize iyi bakın.' I wish caught his name, but he was unfortunately not wearing a name tag - I can describe him as being one of the oldest among the team. Such genuine behavior is rare to come by nowadays, he certainly left an everlasting...
