I definitely waited a free time to write this comment nearly a week after our visit to Buddha Bar. You will not be happy when you read this. I was very sorry for the investor for such a nice place and such worst crew ever. The problems started from the begining of our arrival to the facility with my lovely wife.
Valets said that they had to take the car at the entrance and buggies are allowed in the facility so we waited nearly 10 minutes to reach the restaurant. No welcoming, noone is interested in customer. We serached for someone to say that we wanted to sit to our reserved table but nearly for 10 minutes, every person we stopped to communicate told us "one minute, I send the related person to help you" and go away.
We decided to wait at the bar before we sit our table and asked for a waiter to give an order to drink something. Even the barmaid who was just 3 metres away from us told that he would send someone to get the order and approximately 10 minutes later I could drink a glass of unidentified amount of ginger alé, without nuts/napkin/straw.
As we were drinking our drinks, PR girl arrived and asked how could she help us. We explained the situation and she went away. For 20 minutes, she didn't appear anymore. We decided to sit at one table at last and the guy which seemed to behave as the restaurant manager told us that we could sit at a table which is at the very side of the servants without even an eye contact when there was 0 people arrived at the restaurant. "0". I mean noone. 0. We told that it has been more than a week that we made our reservation for the beach side and they approved. They confirmed at last and took us to the table which has a very nice view.
I am a non-alcohol drinker and in 36 years of my life I never drunk alcohol. We gave the order of our drinks to the waiter and said two times: "Just a ginger alé and ice, I don't drink alcohol, please just a pure bottle of ginger alé without any other ingredient". Our drinks came with different shapes and service type than our recent drinks at the bar. I warned the waiter that those drinks could be different than what we drank lately and he replied that there can be different types of glassware served at bar and table. I took a sip from ginger alé and I understood that it was alcohol.
Until that moment everything was unbelievable. Then we ordered our sushis and starters. I didn't go over what we experienced and tried to calm down for a lovely night. Only one waiter apologized for the fault but it was not enough.
Dinner was delicious, priceworthy, nice athmosphere but worst experience ever in a restaurant.
Shame on crew Shame on service Shame on management Sorry for the poor investor for consigning his facility for those traitorwise crew. But he is so lucky to have such succesful chefs. I wish I could give 0 star but the 1 star that I gave was only for the...
Read moreWe went there spontaneously without a reservation to the bar on eveningnight. You need to take a small shuttle to go there. After arriving it was a bit confusing to find it. The reception girl at the buddha bar gave us a two seat at the bar (which was ok because we didn´t had reservation). but after seating 10 minutes and searching for drinks, she comes back and informed us that tonight was a live music band and normally the entrace charge therefore is 25 eur p.P. (=700 tl) including one prosecco. At this moment we were a bit frustrated because we already took the seat since a while and it would be unconfortable to leave. 25 Eur just for the entrace and one glass of prosecco is usury. so we decided exceptionally to stay for one drink (also the drinks were over 18 eur). the receptionlady told us that normally they inform the peoples by phone before about any event and extra fee but as we were there spontaneously they couldnt. So why she didn´t told it to us at the moment when we arrived before seating? I´m sure it was her´s and the bar´s intent! the cocktails were overpriced (even an non-alc drink) and not worth...
Read moreI recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at Buddha-Bar Beach Bodrum. The atmosphere and location might be promising, but the service completely ruined the visit. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the staff were more interested in making quick money than providing a good customer experience. The attitude was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional.
There was no assigned manager available, so when issues arose, there was no one to address them. The staff seemed inexperienced, unorganized, and indifferent to customer concerns. Any questions or problems we brought up were met with either blank stares or outright rudeness. They lacked basic hospitality skills and made us feel like an inconvenience instead of valued customers.
Overall, it felt like the only priority here is extracting as much money as possible, with zero regard for service quality. I would not recommend visiting Buddha-Bar Beach Bodrum if you’re looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience—there are far better options out there where customers are actually...
